I only have 2 payday loans left to pay off and I will be out of payday debt!!! PPGC said my account with them had been sent to a collection company with the above phone number, but the original creditor could not tell me the name of the collection company. Does anyone know who this number belongs to? PS DO NOT TAKE OUT MULTIPLE PAYDAY LOANS!!!!!! It has taken me to date over 4 months and a whole lot of money to escape the cycle. Thank you for your help.

I had a phone number in the subject column, but I guess you can't post phone numbers any more. Can anyone tell me how to go about finding out which collection agency a 866 number belongs to? Thank you

Kathryn,

Have you checked your latest credit report from the three credit bureaus? Any collection agency authorized to collect the debt from you on behalf of the creditors will be appearing in your credit report.

You can post the phone number in the next post so that I can have a search on it.

Regards
Roxette

Kathryn

This number belongs to CollectEdge LLC. You can send a debt validation request to the company and know the details about your accounts.

After your debt is validated, you can arrange payments with them.

Has anyone posted about their dealings with them. I have tried to call several times. The first few times there was no answer and the last few it was busy. I would like to be prepared when I do get through. Thank you for all your help!!!!

Read this page back and forth. It has some consumers' feedback about CollectEdge.
