Has anyone dealt with NationWide Credit

Just received a computer generated phone call from 888-913-2337. So I called it back and they stated they were Nationwide credit. Is this the same nationwide credit that was sued in Atlanta Georgia? Has anyone dealt with them?

They are listed on Bud Hibbs website in the agencies to avoid information.

As per the reports of budhibbs, this company has problems in providing the complete documentation on the fdcpa and FCRA disputes. Employees are also lacking the knowledge of FDCPA acts and this has overall resulted in the degradation of the company.

Request them for debt validation if they are collecting on any of your past debt. Follow the FDCPA guidelines and you won't be scammed by a company doing illegal business.

I used to work for them. Walked out due to poor upper management at the OPS and Director levels. I was a senior manager. Their practices with MCI long distance accounts was shamefull. Employee's used to "blind call" long distance customers and when the customer would answer we would hangup after listening long enough to determine if the customer was a private household or a business. Mind you the NCI employee would not speak a single word on the call. The determination was based upon how the person answered the phone. Based on the answer we would "BLOCK" (take away long distance service) or let the service continue depending on where the calls were made to and how much the bill was. Upper upper management was to busy literally to busy playing golf daily and not working the business. The Vestal NY site was the worst of all. One job I was glad to leave and advance within a better company.

I got the same computer generated call from (866)505-9316 (and was transfered to India) They refused to tell me what Nationwide Credit "does" (and why they kept calling me every.... single... day) until I gave them my phone number... which I refused to do.

Just yesterday Nationwide called up and started talking about someone else's debt with me. This was after I told them that I wasn't the person they wanted. No doubt they are frequently taken to court, it would be quite easy to catch them violating the fdcpa and state laws it would seem.

I am dealing with them right now. They are a bunch of slime balls who are reporting false information to my credit agencies and refusing to remove it. I am currently drafting a formal letter and threatening a law suit if the information is not removed. How can I get them to stop calling? They (the recording) has been calling every other day for three or four months now. I finally called the number the other day, but I would not give them my phone number - I just told them to stop calling me - but they are still calling me/my number any way.

The recording says it is a message from Janet Hall, that it is not a solicitation call, and that we should call 866.505.9316.

We are in St. Pete, Florida.

every thing written is false,people in nationwide credit r good.They helped me in resolving my debt.The reason people r writing all this false statements is just cause they dont want to py their bills...

Sure guest, they helped you resolve your debt. So how long have you been working for nationwide?

And people do want to pay their bills, they just don't want to pay too much or pay for bills that may not be theirs. Hey I just realized, you owe me $500 guest, you need to send me the money immediately.

Oh Naitonwide Credit, I remember them. I had some issues with them. All similar from what everyone else said. The kept calling, and calling, and calling, three, five times a day. Only the Bureau for Collection Recovery bothered me more.

I sent Nationwide a validation letter and never heard from them again.

LOL guest, "be careful, take care and be confident". I take it English is not your native language, which is fine. Personally I could care less if you work for nationwide or not. Look up sarcasm okay. Actually I don't have credit card debts, sorry to disappoint you. I have a few credit cards but we don't use them. Me and my wife only use our American Express and pay it off each month.

You see I'm here to try and help others having problems and help them from the unscrupulous debt collectors. You see I was born in the daytime, but I wasn't born yesterday. You obviously work from one of these companies, possibly you are in India since you took offense to someones comment about India and your writing suggests English is not your native language. Nothing wrong with that but please don't come in here pretending to be otherwise. I don't take it personally that you are lying, I'm just calling you out on it.

I'm still waiting for my money you owe me. Now be careful in what you say next, my BS meter is tuned into you DOOOOOOD.
