Cindyla, I had an account with CTC and they started harassing me few days after I defaulted (never mind that I did call prior to the due date to arrange payments, they would not hear of it). They demanded I pay up front or they will "garnish" my paychecks. To make long story short, I got my local police involved and they ceased from harrassing me. I have no idea what the Lt. said but they did not bother me once since then. Lt. told me he reported the company to my state Attorney General because of his converstation with the E-CARE customer service, he found them very shady and evasive of his questions.
As for the wage revocation letter, you do not need to get it from your employer. You can write one now and send it off to the company.
My bank did the same. I was not able to do anything until they actually tried to debit my account. They did so I filed a dispute, got charges reversed back to my account, and closed the account.
This is one heck of a shady company I ever had to deal with. Out of all payday lenders, they were pretty much the only ones who would not cooperate in payment arrangements.
