I too received this scam letter on 10/05/05. The first thing that made me suspicious was the author of the letter stated he was advised by his attorney's not to reveal his name. Then, on page three, the jackass reveals his first name, "Kevin." For some reason I immediately connected it with "Kevin Trudeau" author of the "NATURAL CURES" book. About two months ago, I ordered the book. BAD MISTAKE! The book is vague and misleading. Save your money, DO NOT ORDER this book. Anyway, I believe this was the first step in getting caught up in Kevin Trudeau's ongoing con/scam. I am very curious to know if any of you who received this letter from the "Nouveau Tech Society," had first ordered the "Natural Cures" book. Or, did you order ANTHING else from Kevin Trudeau's info-commericals. It is my opinion this man is UNSCRUPULOUS and DISHONEST. He needs to be stopped!

Hi Jms @ Bryan:
I Just got the letter myself to join this so great society. However, I searched the net and was guided to this forum. That God I did!. I had a gut feeling it was a scam, specially when it talks about my traits and abilities. How can they know, if I don't even know all of them myself?. Anyways, I hope their are other people out there who are really intelligent enough to search before falling into these scams. I guess I find another one of my traits...No letting anyway take me for a foul.

Thanks for your posts. All of you have a great day!

D. Mel

Dear anonymous:
I don't think we are the poor souls. The poor souls are those who fall into many traps because they do not research. Yes, Kevin Trudeau's book is good to read as much as any fictional story could be. I am not saying that everything in his book is fictional, However being in the medical field myself believe me not all is true. Plus, if you read in debt he tells us not to do this or that, but he also states that because he needs to live in this so called corrupted goverment world he eats what he tells us not to, because he also goes to restaurants like we do.
Don't be fooled yourself. Use your own judgement most of it is common sense.

Have a nice day!

My parents live in the middle of no where...they have received one of these letters as well. It is amazing how far someone will go to get innocent people to part with their hard working paychecks.

Thanks for the warnings. You're right. Anyone who promises you something for nothing is always after your $$$ for sure. I ripped it up and threw it in the trash. Guess I'll have to live with never being able to read minds and almost nobody wanting to "be my friend". By the way, Jesus drove a fortune telling demon from a girl in the bible. In both the old and new testaments witchcraft, soothsaying and the like is always an evil thing to be avoided at all costs.

I received a letter from The Nouveau Tech Society today. I am always suspicious of offers that offer something for free. Besides I don't need a letter from the NTS to know that I am special -- LOL!

I, like all of you, received the letter today and went right to the computer. What is clear to me (after reading all the postings)is that we may all have the "Natural Cures" book in common. Either this is a spin off or they have sold all of our info to this outfit. Even though there were some good elements in the book, it failed to deliver as I'm sure this Nouveau would and make money on us along the way. I too was charged the $71.40 even though I declined the newsletters at the time of ordering and I called them when I received newsletters in the mail. When I saw the new charge on my card statement I called them right away and the apologized for the "miscommunication". I wonder what they have collected off people who do not read their statements? I guess we even have to watch out for the people who are telling us to watch out for government

These letters reek of scam not only because of what they are trying to do, but if you have already replied to their first letter, the second letter and their brochure are worded almost the same with a few minor changes. If anyone out there has money to burn on their "invitation" by all means, buy the over-priced book. If not, save your money for something important, like food or rent.
