I also received a letter in the mail from this secret society. Since it stated it costs nothing, I replied by the dead-line. I then received my "book" in the mail, which turned out to be an orientation pamplet, one day before my deadline to join. I immediately read the pamplet, and saved the letters for last. When I came to the letter telling me I had to pay $139.95 for this 100-page book, my first thought was...hmm, rent vs. book. The thing that really got me, was that in the orientation, which is in fact five "testimonials", all of these people were "miraculously" handed this amazing manuscript. So, if these people were GIVEN the secret to ultimate happiness and success, because they have the same inate talents and abilities as I do: Why do I (strong emphasis), have to pay $139.00 to get it?! And on an additional note, as far as the whole $.37 stamp thing goes, I get letters in the mail ALL THE TIME, from companies that offer to pay me to stuff envelopes with their adds, stamp them and send them out, at which point, if the people who are on the list of names that THEY provide, buy/subscribe to said product, I will be sent my fee. Therefor, the fact that it had a stamp on it doesn't mean anything really.

i know i just posted on here, but after posting my comment, i was further researching this matter, and came across something of interest....
as you recall, your pamplet includes "testimonials" of subscribers to this book. one of these is of a man telling you "anononymously" of the 10-second miracle. he tells you about how he ended up being sentenced to jail for two years because,"In my zeal and zest to be successful and trying to apply all these things, I started to cut coners. Money got so tight that I did some illegal things involving my credit cards.". Oddly enough, when I typed Kevin Trudeaus name into yahoo, i came upon a site... Link deleted as per forum rules - Mike which states ... "During the early 1990s, according to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Trudeau served nearly two years in prison. In 1990, he pled guilty to larceny in a Cambridge, Massachusetts, state court in connection with $80,000 in worthless checks he had deposited at a bank. The sentencing memorandum said that he had posed as a doctor to increase his credibility with bank officials. In 1991, he pled guilty to credit-card fraud in Boston federal district court. Among his misdeeds in the federal case, he misappropriated for his own use the credit-card numbers of customers of the memory-improvement courses that he offered at the time. (Barrett 2004) In the credit card swindle, he defrauded American Express out of $122,735.68. He also swindled about five grand from several banks, including Chemical and Citibank. The Smoking Gun has posted a copy of the indictment.". I obviously thought, that anyone who may be looking into this matter, would find this specific information highly helpful. |

Here's Smoking Gun's article about the man:
thesmokinggun.com/archive/0826051trudeau1.html He is PT Barnum. And a total scam artist. If he is involved, don't even listen - everything he has ever been a part of was a fraud. |

I recieved this same letter on October 17, 2006 for the free membership booklet. I received it very quickly and began to read it. It seems to me the same person is writing the same story, just a different circumstance. I am a christian and I know God have the power to do anything. I did not sent the $139.95 for the 1000 page book that will change your life even if your mate is cheating. I have decided to stay with the Good Book The Bible.

:!:  I received the letter from this so called secert society. Not only do I find it a little creepy and would love to know how jerks like that get our names and addresses (makes me wonder what other personal information these aweful people can get their hands on), I instantly knew it was a scam and quite funny. Not only, as a person above mentioned, did this secret person sign their name (whatever-that's probably phoney too) but MY letter is post dated for October 20'th...the letter date in the corner was dated October 21'st. That's some real magic there. On top of that, they wanted a response by no later than October 27'th. Well, jeeze! I didn't get the scam letter till October 30'th. Guess I'll have to channel my "super secretive powers" to go back in time and get the letter so I can get it to them before the 27'th. Thanks but no thanks-I like my life just as it is. I hope this aweful person is stopped.

I received a letter. I am not superstitious. However we were born and came out of a womans womb. Is that a Miracle? We went to the Moon, is that Witch Craft?
You people make up such silly stories. No wonder you sound like a bunch sleep walking zombies from "red neck heaven".I'm buying my book. There's an old saying, "Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained". I've done the Sciencetology, the Landmark Forum, now I'll do this. Why? Because it Works! In a year I will look on this site and see if you people are still complaining and compare to where I am and where you are give you a report. |

Yep I got it my self. I am an accomplished musician and it really sounded like they knew Me. I sent in the reply but haven't gotten anything yet. Once they send me the book, if they ask for money that will be the last they hear of me. All other transmissions will hit the can at the light speed of a 64th note!
