I keep reading about people throwing the letter out, convinced that it is a scam. Has anyone actually purchased the manuscript? How can you all claim it's a scam when I haven't found any posting from people who actually were scammed. Do I need to be the one who actually spends the money to find out. I dont enjoy being scammed, but I am curious. Why isn't there any stories from people who actually spent the money. Are they too busy enjoying their lives or are they too embarressed to admit they were scammed?

I too like so many received this letter promising insight and I too wondered how any society could get my name and profile me...I do not have a credit card, my phone is unlisted...........but I did order Kevin Trudeau's Natural Cures book and was deeply disappointed with it, it appeared to be a forum for Mr. Trudeau to voice his opinion of our Government. He was counting on people's usual reaction that it isn't worth the hassle to send it back for a refund.

I too received a letter and did actualy send for the free brochure. I knew it was a scam all along but since it was free I thought I would check it out. When someone starts asking for dollars, then I quit. So I decided to check it out on line, and sure enough I am not one of the chosen few.

I've also lost 12 lbs and am effortlessly keeping it off

Far from wishing them ill let's hope they simply are caught and, if actually criminal or cons, they pay their debt to all. I too received the letter, and mostly out of pure curiosity and I suppose partially due to teh creative and enticing nature responded. I am glad to see there is discussion about them but I see NO evidence in any of these comments that lead me to be convinced of anything but superlative, even if unscrupulous, MARKETING. We Americans, and probably more, are constantly looking for something for nothing but live in an environment where we regularly, every time we go into the store or turn on the TV, are being sold nothing for something.

Comforting to know I'm not alone I Guess? Irate because I hate being taken advantage of in any way! I ordered the Natural Cures Book and was hustled over the phone to buy all kinds of extra stuff: cd's of the book, magazines, extra copies of the book, etc. Then I never recieved it, when I called to cancel the order, the operator said the order was "invalid" I don't like the fact that I gave out C/card info to these fast talking creaps!

I am like other I bought this book and then I get this let a few weeks later, they seem to coinside with each other. As far as Kevin's book it is a lie when it comes to diebetics, a rip off, I paid with fast shipping 74.00 and then I got on the internet and typed his name in and found out he was being sued by a lot of folks, I also went to Costo today and found it on sale there for like 12 or 16.oo bucks rip off. I want to send mine back but they don't include a invoice, only a shipping notice, without any addresses or phone numbers and none on the wrapper. So I have no way of finding out where I can sent it back even though I will only get the 29.99 back no shipping or handling. Does anyone have a phone number that I can call or a address to send it back to them. Thanks so much.

I received my free info today and have until 10-14-05, to send back my application with the money. The information offers me everything in the world, except immortality, the ability to fly and invisability. I'll just have to wait to those promises are available in upcoming editions!

I just got the letter as well, Oct.11, 2005. I agree that this is likely the result of a massive mailing list from Kevin Trudeau, as I called in to get his book, too. It's too bad, because I think he has a lot of valuable things to say about health. But as he says, EVERYONE is motivated by money. Case in point.
