I can't believe this has been going on so long and nothing has been done to stop it. I received my letter about a week ago, after receiving my 3 books about 2 weeks earlier. I immediately started checking out the letter and Kevin Trudeau when I received the letter. Thankfully, many people have taken the time to speak up about this.
I have not read the books nor will I. I was informed when I called (1-978-299-2298--they don't even have a toll-free number to use for this purpose) about returning them that I could keep the 2 books that I only paid shipping/handling on as the s/h would not be refunded on any of the 3 books, only the purchase price of 1. I had rather pay to send them all back, along with a copy of this ridiculous letter. Maybe then they will understand exactly why the books are coming back to them. As a Christian, I know where my source of strength comes from, and it's certainly not a manuscript from some secret society. The power of Jesus is no secret and is the only source that we'll ever need.

I do feel as though this is indeed a scam, but theres more to it. I think the entire scam, from beginning to end, is the way that this guy gets away with it. If you really read into things, he's being truthful about some of his claims. He says that you can become powerful, become rich, how to take money and power from the UNINFORMED. Thats exactly what he is doing with this scam. Uninformed people read his rediculous letter, buy the book, and he becomes rich and feels powerful. By following this very basic "business" plan, you too can become rich. I think he is a complete scumbag and has no decent human values for doing this, but by essentially following through with his promises (teaching you how to become rich and powerful), he remains legitimate.

I too have received an invitation from these people, telling me that I was very special, and I was destined to be a part of some grand scheme who would be able to tap in to some great power. What a joke this is, I was told to send a reply to a letter before a certain date, whats really funny is that the letter I'm speaking of arrived in my mail box on that very same date.
What is wrong with this picture? Thank you folks for bringing this scam to light.

its hard to say this is real but what if it is? but it really seems like it is a company or a group of individuals who have found through fraud people who are in dept or in need of somthing more from life. i say we go to the news to the law and band together and lets break this secret society and get the peoples money back and stop this kind of fraud from continuing. if you have recieved this letter or know someone who has email me and lets fight this thing bring these people out to the open.. email address removed as per forum rules - Jason

These people are so rediculously out of control. This scam is nearly as bad as the "Foreign Lottery Winner." These people don't know me or anyone else, if this society were so secret (movie "Skulls" ring a bell?) they would make personal contact. I too am greatful for the posts here. Perhaps someday these people can be arrested for Fraud for each count they mail out. (even a minimal sentence x ??? mailings would be Life in prison)

Replied on 09-06-2007, 11:21 AM

September 2007
I bought kevin's book through the infomercial. I like the book and I trust the natural remedies explained in it.
A few days ago I received that letter about the secret society and about how rare and special I was...I got my 56 page free booklet and was asked to pay +/- $139 for a manuscript containing the secret to be rich, healthy, powerful...I want to belive the letter! I really want to believe I am special!! but I think the letter is a scam.
What bothers me is that Kevin Trudeau is endorsing the book and encouraging me to buy it right away! This is changing my perception of Mr. Trudeau. I thought he was for real but, how can he endorse such a scam if he's for real?

I received this letter too. I busted out laughing. What a scam. Kevin Trudeau is a money making son of a gun. You have to hand it to him. The society is a bit obvious though. Come on Kevin...you can do better than this can't you.

Wow- I have two of his books and I thought they were wonderful. I am saddened to see that he is involved in something so sinister ! GOd is the only one who blesses- not some association!
In retrospect, I won't be buying anymore of his books!
