Default Nouveau tech society scam letter

I was just sent a letter asking to join a secret "Nouveau Tech" society. I'm not going to do it - the letter reeks of a scam.

However, I just was wondering if anyone else has gotten this kind of letter - it is kind of creepy.

jms,

First, I would like to thank you to come up with such an important topic.

You're not alone on the deck; lots of people are there who have received the same letter. Nouveau Tech Society is listed under “Con Artist” category in ripoffreport.com. Nouveau Tech seems to be closely related with e-book dealers.

The victims generally receive an invitation mail first. It asks the person to join their society to gather some true knowledge without any cost and the individual is requested to reply the letter.

If the receiver replies to the first letter, he gets the second letter with a brochure attached. This letter is more descriptive than the first one and contains an order form.

If the person orders the book, he keeps on receiving offer letters endlessly.

The most unfair thing is that these books are available in some libraries for free and their market price is much lower and those who have already bought the books have a really bad experience since they are not better than a paper weight. Just think of a paper weight for $130!

If anyone wishes to share some more info, please post here.

Bryan

P.S. According to BBB, Nouveau Tech Society has aliases Neo Tech Publishing Company, Novatech, Novatech Society, Novus Tek Invitation Processing.

Hi Jms

Welcome to the forums.

I did a search about Nouveau Tech Society and found that many consumers have already got ripped off. They will offer with some lucrative deals on making billions of dollars by spending little money.

I was just wondering that before offering such deals in the market they should have first used it and become millionaires.

Kevin Trudeau sends all the newsletters to the consumers. My friend bought a book from them and wishes to reveal all the secrets once she becomes a member. A membership fee along with a monthly fee has to be paid for it. Then, all the questions can be sent to him through email. I heard that a question was sent 2 months ago and still waited for the reply. Hearing these strange facts, the more I hear about them, weird things start to surface.

I just received a letter myself and I am very skeptical myself. But since it said it was free and I didn't have to pay anything I was going to do it, but I had to get on the net first to see what others had to say. Thanks for these comments now I know it is a scam. If nothing else the letter was flattering.

Yes, Nag

The letters are designed in such a way so that the innocent consumers become easy prey to such companies. I suggest you to do a proper research every time before making any sort of financial decision.

Regards
Roxette

Default Nouveau Tech society letter

Yes I received one of these letters today - Oct 3 2005.

It certainly was creepy!. Did you notice that this was a secret - but the lady signed her name.

I have no plan to do it either. But will try to find any other info on the Internet I can.

Default Nouveau Tech Society Scam

I also received a letter Monday, October 3, 2005. To me it had the undercurrents of witch craft. I will burn the letter in the drive out side of my home.
Glad to read all of the response.

I also received a letter today, Tuesday, October 4, 2005. And, as in the comments I've read, I was very skeptical. Someone mentioned Kevin Trudeau, what is his involvement? FYI, these letters can be presented to the Postal Service as scam letters and they will be forwarded to the U S Postal Inspection Service who investigates these type scams. They can and often do shut these type of operations down.

I was sent a letter from the secret NTS and then I got on the internet to find this. Not sure waht to think of this, but i do know that the book Natural Cures is an awesome book to read and it is too bad so many people really have no clue what the government is doing to them. You poor souls. As far as the Nouveau Tech Society I won't waste my time.

I received the letter from Nouveau Society. It seems to play on everything that you want for yourself in life, though when it kept repeating about it being free, I was skeptical, which led me to the computer to check them out, and that is how I found your site! Anyone who promises you anything for nothing, usually ends up wanting lots of $$$$$.

i got one of the letters and it was very flattering, telling me how i am so special and all. Ha Ha, funny people want to tell you that when they have no clue who you are at all, and somehow they knew i was poor and broke, so why the hell are you soliciting things to us poor people, they want to make us even farther in debt.
