the system has screwed me over and there is nothing i can do to get out of it Crying or Very sad

i had this problem with not being able to pay my payday loans...(now with t&c) but when i went in to close my account the rep told me everything had cleared and it hadent so i just found out the account is 600.00 in the negative because these loan companies wont stop...its hopeless. the bank told me as long as its neg they wont close it until the 90 in overdraft mark!!!! how much will i owe then? thousands! and then when i cant pay it they will garnish my wages....this sucks

See if they can put a freeze on your account. If so, you won't be able to use it, but you can get the automatic transactions stopped. You may also think about closing the account. But before you close it, open another account. Hope this helps. Hang in there. Go talk to your bank and see what they can do.

I am so sorry to see that you are going through this. If it makes you feel any better, I am going through the same thing. Will your bank stop withdrawals on the account. Mine won't but many people here say that they have had their banks stop all electronic withdrawals.

My bank stopped payment on all automatic withdrawals (didn't charge me for any of the stop payments) and put a freeze on my account (credit only no debits) I haven't any problem since then. Of course my bank account is negative 500+ and the bank won't close a negative balance. Mine will go to credit bureau after 120 days. Hope to have it paid off before then!

If the account is in negative state, chances are bank would not allow you to close it. But you can freeze it. Ask your counselor to confirm that your lender will not hit your account any more in future. I think once they start receiving money, they will stop charging you (gradually). I know this is very weird and that is our fight. We will raise our voice until the system is changed.

One stuff of Platinum B Services often visits this forum and posts his comments. He takes care of customer feedbacks and answer to all the queries done by the forum members. Seems they really want to do business and try to clarify the doubts about them. Hope all the lenders were so much helpful.

Did you try to close your account before the payday loans hit? When I closed my checking account with the advice of T &C, I explained the situation to my bank and they had no problems doing so. I was really grateful for that. Believe me, I have been through the ringer with these payday lenders. Today was the worst of all but I survived thanks to my friends in the forum. It's rare that a payday lender will take the time to post on the forum, especially in a positive way. If you want, you can pm me your list of lenders and I can try to help you that way. Also, pm me the state you live in so I can check your laws regarding payday loans Smile

Believe, I've seen it all and lived. Today, I was called an embezzler so that was a new one LMAO !

i totally understand this..be firm and get your bank to freeze your account or block all electronic debits...my bank did not tell me this was an option until it was too late. They would not let me close the account, but they closed it and are now telling me that i owe them 2500.00 all is nsf fees...it burns me becuase for months i asked them to tellme all my options,and they did not tell me the one thing that would have been the solution until it was too late to do anything. Now, i am reported to chexsystems, which will, even if i pay the amount if full, stay on my credit report for 7 years
