When the time came to pay them off I was unable to contact them to let them know I wanted to clear the loan. Long story short they continued to charge me $90 for the $300 for about 6 months to a year. It took that long for me to find any info on them. Finally I was able to get my hands on their phone and fax number because I received a letter from them in the mail. I want to pass that info on to anyone else who might be in a jam with them because of a loan.
Here is the info, HOPE THIS HELPS.

I took out a loan through MY1Direct a couple of years ago. I now have a guy by the name of Allan Miller from United something claiming he is in their legal department. He told me that by me taking out this payday loan over the internet it was a felony for something like taking money over statelines and also a civil matter. He also said that if I did not pay them by Wednesday that they were going to have the cops come to my place of work to arrest me. I tried to tell him that according to New Mexico law I could not be arrested for not paying a payday loan and he told me to call the local police and ask them. I am very worried and scared because I have children at home. I tried to tell the guy that I could pay him $100 a month, but that is all I could afford because I am supporting a family of 8 on my income alone and I don't make that much after taxes. Even forking out $100 a month is going to really put me in a bind. What can I do because I can't afford a lawyer, yet this guy practically calls me 4 to 5 times a day. Is there anyone that can help?
