Yes, a very bad one. A couple of weeks ago, Paragon way computers systems some how managed to debit my bank account regarding monies owed that were not expected to be paid out until the end of the month of July. But the way they have it set up, some reason it did it early and had a negative balance in my account. When I asked what happened no reason could be given accept a glitch in the system. When I asked how long it would take them, they told me that they were unsure. I would be careful about giving out any and all bank information to these people. For future refference use a prepaid debit card.

We just received a billing from Paragon Way asking for collection on a debt of over $2,000.00. This debt was taken care of 3 years ago. I have to pull out all old info on this debt to clear it up. My question also is whether this is a legitimate company or a fraud.

Anyone else out there with info on this company??

I have also been receiving calls from this same company - they leave messages constantly on my machine. I have talked to them once and they argued with me about my social security number too. I also refused to give them the last four digits of mine and they started argueing very rudely - So, I told them they needed to learn some manners before they called me again and then just hung up on them. I found their website online if anyone is interested... collectx.net/

Hello everyone my wife got a call today from paragon way a Kendra Storm ha ha nice alias right so she gets home from work and tells me this company called an left a message for her, so i call them back i get some guy named Daniel Rodriguez he tells me the accts are from 3 payday loans from 2002. I start to laugh i tell him those accts were disputed in 2002 and dispute letter sent to all 3 payday loan places long story short my wifes cousin is in jail right now for these and about 15 others so he tells me they will be reported to her credit i tell him stats in illinois is 6 years it used to be 10 years told him if he pulls credit reports he will see they were never reported. He says well the sol starts when we receive the acct thats when i knew i was talking to someone who has very little training in debt collections. Im a debt collector have been for 10 years. This gentlemen tells me he needs a copy of dispute letter I tell him to validate they own acct thats when he tells me that they have had the acct since 4/06 i say well ok did you send a validation letter out he says no so i just want to tell the people on here that if you have a run in with this company just ask them to validate and if they dont sue them thats what i plan to do if they keep pursuing theses dead debts sorry for the rambling everyone have a great day if u need there info just reply to my post

Sub: Paragon Way posted to all 3 of my reports too!

Paragon Way also called me asking for the last 4 of my social. Not knowing who they were, I refused. Next thing I knew, they posted a 4 year old payday loan on all 3 credit reports. I immediately contacted them and paid the $310. That was on June 14th. It is now Sept. 19th and they still have not removed the item or marked it as paid in full. It is still showing as owing!

Firstly, do they have the right to put this on my credit report without any advance warning or correspondence?
Secondly, how can I have this item either removed or marked as paid?
I am in the midst of a refinance and this item is dragging my credit rating down!

I have been reading a lot of bad information here on this board that may end up getting anyone who owes them sued, I sent a C&D and ended in court, now they are garnishing my pay check. They are a legitimate company, and I found out they are known as the collection company with a heart, on my other 2 accounts they set up an % free account with a small payment amount...that was a lot easier than court, be glad to answer any other questions ya'll may have..hope they can help you...

If you owe the bill theres no doubt you should pay it but if there pursuing people who have a legitamate dispute and they take them to court they will end up paying that person money. Theres no doubt they have bought some accounts that are disputed and to the lady who said she dont owe it if you have a real dispute and have documents to support you should file a lawsuit against them thats the only way to get it resolved..

You want to know why they supposedly give you such a good deal is because they buy the accts for pennies on the dollar thats why they just want you to fell like there helping you and if you got sued you should of paid it before then now you have attys fees and everything else if you owe the bill pay it!!!!!

Paragon Inc has appeared on my Mother's credit report. However, the original creditors does not belong to her. We have checked and doubled checked. All of her creditors she has even had is listed on her credit report.

Any recommendations on how to contact this agency?

I'd like to know which companies are represented by PargonWay. It would be nice to stat building a profile on this company. It appears that they are purchasing old debts that are no longer valid. Of course, if someone actually agrees to pay any amount of the debt, the debt can be called valid and stuck on your credit report. If the debt is not valid, I think the best course is to ignore Paragon Way and inform the 3 credit bureaus of an attempt at credit fraud.
