Its been 6 months since I took out my last PDL. One place is still giving me headaches but thats not the point of this thread.

If you have a similiar milestone then congradulations!!! We made it... Did not give in, did not go for the quick fix when things got rough.

OK...Feb 7 was the day I closed my account, opened a new one, and vowed to clean up my act right away. And I did.
Congrats to you guys!

erze/fins - congrats on your success. I also found this site soon after my last PDL and it was no coincidence that the 2 events coincided. I was being harrased by Sonic at the time and this site helped big time. I was so relieved to learn that there were others just like me out there.

Thanks out to Denny and the crew for putting on the show and for all of our participation and community spirit. Strangers helping strangers with no reward sought or expected. Nice feeling.

Thanks Glynnie11 and everyone for the tender words. I am touched when I see you all getting help from each other. I have gone through hard times in the past. There is a topic about me at the "My Story" section.

I can understand the various problems relating to creditors, lenders, collections etc. That is what made me think about this forum. A common platform like this not only has the experiences from all of you but it teaches and offers guidance to those who are in the same situation. Many people feel shy or afraid to discuss their financial problems. I hope they get the desired help from our experiences in one view.

Regards
Denny

The best thing about our community is that we have a strong determination and want to solve our problems from the base. We don't look for ways to avoid/escape it on some pretext. This is a common board and we have people with different thoughts and opinions. I never read anyone saying that he/she does not want to pay the debt purposefully. This is good for you and for everyone following you. You all are an inspiration to others for all the good things you are doing. Smile

Regards
Denny

My favorite thing is the social aspect--You get your answers from someone who knows from EXPERIENCE...And you may get more than one answer...Both may be correct and you can pick the one that works best for you...Or come up with your OWN solution.

We're all friends around here, and that makes it nice. Smile

I'm proud of all of you for taking the steps of getting out of the payday loan cycle. This forum was a miracle to me at one of my lowest points in my life. God sent me to this forum and I truly believe that. I have found help and friendship both Smile
