Has anyone ever heard of this company? I have them calling me regarding a past payday loan from Universal, but on the letter that they sent me it says it is an account from Purpose Solutions. I don't have a clue as to if Purpose/Universal are the same. Any advice?

Has American debt collection validated the account? You must get something in writing within 5 days from the day of first communication with you. If you have not received anything in the mail, send a certified letter requesting for the info.

After the details are sent, get your records and compare it thoroughly. The amount must tally with each other. Do you have the phone number of the original company? You will be interested in calling them and know their DBA names.
