5 payday loans outstanding and some credit card balance

Sad I am new to this website and keep reading about T & C and its seems like a company I need to use. I have 5 payday loans outstanding and about $1500.00 worth of credit card balances. I can't afford anymore to pay my payday loan finance fees and keep up with all my other bills. Its becoming frustrating living paycheck to paycheck and sometimes not even that! Can someone please let me know the phone number to T & C so I can contact them or will they contact me since I signed up? Thank you for any information you can give me.

I think what happens is a debt counselor affiliated with this site calls you and then you go from there. T&C is a debt consolidation company. By becoming a member of this forum you have taken your first step toward getting out of the payday loan mess and your credit card worries. You have definitely come to the right place. Everyone here has had much of the same type of debt problems you are now experiencing. Be patient, relax and read the messages posted in the forums and I am sure someone will contact you (I don't know about weekends though). Reading all of the postings here and asking questions will allow you to gain some useful information. You can also post questions of your own. We have many qualified people who are members on this site and are always ready and willing to answer questions. Glad you came on board.

Thanks for your reply. i really hope this takes away all my worries and money troubles. I have a good job (and a 2nd job I might add) and make decent money, it kills me to see all my money go towards these PDL's and my other bills suffering from them. I was getting really depressed by all this. I really hope this works for me, I don't know where else to turn. Sad Thanks again for your reply...any other replys I will greatly appreciate!

Please do not let yourself be too depressed by this financial mess. I was the same way about a month ago and have started the consolidation problem and am feeling much relieved. Let me tell you getting rid of the worry about paying alll of my bills and then those payday loan fees was worth it. Yes I still have to pay money, but it is a much more manageable amount and I am not going broke doing it.

This forum however has been probably the most helpful to me and my situation. I have come to realize that my financial situation and the desperation I felt was not unique (even though a horrible experience for me). Because everybody on this site has had these same types of experiences there is a bond between the "posters". You just have to open up and offer your own experience and experiences to work toward helping yourself and others.

How long does it take from the time you talk to the consolidation company till the program starts? Do you have to be in default with the PDL's before you can consolidate? I am not in default yet, but I can see myself heading there fast. Thanks again for your responses!

Welcome to the family. You have made the first step onto the right road. I'm not sure how consildating your loans might work. Personally I went with a debt management program that set up payment arrangement with the PDL companies. Going through a debt management company can allow you to get these things paid off without getting another loan to do it. It also gives you a group of people that will advocate for you with the companies. One thing to remember is that things will not be fixed right away. You will need to be patient but once you have started with a debt management company or consolidation company, whichever you decide, you will start to feel better. Like Lorri said don't get depressed by where you are at financially. If you ever start feeling overwhelmed come back to this site and you will get some much needed support. We can all relate to where you are at and are here for you.

Check your PM---Remember this also---you didn't get into this financial situation overnight right? So it will take a little bit of time to take care of it. But, by making that first step you are already in the process. Let us know what happens.

I've received the info on T&C. I've decided not to go with them for the time being. I'm trying to schedule payment arrangements with the pdl companies. Some are VERY easy to work with and others are a literal nightmare. Thanks to all of you I know I'm not alone. I'm working to pay off this debt and sleeping better at night. If it wasn't for these STUPID payday loans I could pay ALL of my bills on time and SAVE a good chunk of money!!!! Will that day ever come?! I do not have credit card debt. Just a mort., car payment, adn pdl's!!!!! I can see a very faint light at the end of the tunnel..... Thanks again!

Try to arrange some payment plans with your lenders and stick to it. You will surely see a bright light at the end of the tunnel after the accounts get paid off. I feel relieved coming out of this mess gradually and surely won't take any more loans in the future.
