For the most part, online payday loans and the word POSITIVE can never be used in the same sentence.

Take most of us on this sites advice and stay FAR FAR away from payday loans. Borrow from a relative and wait till payday, you'll thank yourself later.

There are a ton of threads on this site about payday loan horror stories...Read up before you apply for the loans.

You would be much better off avoiding the payday loan trap. If you are in a bind and really need the money, you may want to check with a local credit union. I know of some in my area that offer payday type loans (no credit needed, just show a pay stub, etc.). However, credit unions are generally limited in the amount of interest and fees they can charge, so their loans are not predatory like most payday loans are. (IMPORTANT NOTE: This could vary by state, so be sure to check the fine print for apr and fees before signing up for any loan).

In my opinion there is nothing positive about payday loan companies. Stay as far away from them as you can.

Using payday loans responsibly and investing time trying to decide on which one to use could end up being positive. Just remember that these loans are to be used in extreme emergencies only. They have high interest rates attached to them, and usually have to be paid back the following week (or your next payday). If you default, you'll end up paying even higher interest on them.

Sometimes asking friends or family could be a better alternative. Doing this could actually give you more time to pay them back.
