I have some payday loans with companies in my state of washington. I have check the bbb to see if they are licensed in my state. A couple of them came up but there are some that say that they might not have enough information on them to see if they are licensed. How do i find out for sure if they are licensed or not? Thank you

BBB comes up with such info when they don't have sufficient information about the companies. It can also happen when the company is new in your state and have started their lending business.

The Dept of finance or the licensing authority of your state maintains the list of licensed companies. You will be able to check out the records from these authorities.

Talk with your bank and close the checking account. Your bank must have the information about the company. Call them and get the debits verified.

Are there companies out there that will consolidate your payday loans at a lower rate. I keep having to borrow more to pay the extensions and have not been able to pay mine down. Can anyone help
