Does anyone know the number for Pinnacle Credit Services? I found the address on another post on this fine forum, but could not locate the number. I'm trying to pay off a stupid charged-off account!

Thanks a lot for any assistance with this matter.

I found a Pinnacle Credit Services, but have no idear if it's the one I'm looking for. I see it on my credit report, but I have no idear how to contact them!!!

Pinnacle Credit Service
7900 Hwy 7
St Louis Park, MN 55426-4049
(952) 939-8100

Does anyone on here use FreeCreditReport.com that's going through this? If a company can report you to the credit bureau, don't you think that FreeCreditReport.com would know their number? Just curious.

Thanks again for any replies.[/i]

Welcome Guest,

Credit reports are compiled by credit bureaus and bureaus might have some records of your creditors. The company that you mentioned above is not a credit bureau. They just help you to access your reports of three major credit bureaus.

Please visit this thread and let us know if this is the company you are looking for:

Thanks a lot, bryan, for the welcome and the info.

That was the post that I noticed earlier that did not contain a Pinnacle phone number. I simply will not send any money to anyone without speaking to them and figuring out a way to get them to promise to report the up-to-date status of the delinquent account.

Do you know a good way to contact a bureau, say, Experian?

I really appreciate you taking the time to assist me.

Guest,

You can search for them with BBB. Better Business Bureau maintains a database for US businesses. Hopefully there you can get a correct number to reach them.

You can go to their website or can write to them to inquire about your doubts. Please visit this page for more info:

Hope this helps, feel free to ask your questions in forums

Problems with Pinnacle credit services
Here's what you can do:

Contact the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Better Business Bureau (BBB), Attorney General's Office, and Consumer Protection Division.

They just lost a case for collecting debts in W. Virginia w/o a license and unlawful charges and fees were sited. Review the report wvrecord.com/news/newsview.asp?c=186044.

The actual law suit is on the net, I think it occurred on October 26th or 27th, 2006

Consumers who are interested in more information on how to dispute a debt may visit the Attorney General’s website at wvago.us or contact his Consumer Protection Division at 304-558-8986 or 1-800-368-8808.

Use this address and get the debt validated by the collector. They must give you the legit information about your account before they are authorized to hit a remark in your credit report.

This company is reporting a debt that is not mine & it is past the Statue of Limitations. I have sent numerous certified letters & they will not respond. Disputed w/Experian, but the say it was verified. I don't no what else to do. They have never tried to collect from me, just reporting negatively on CB. I have filed a complaint with Fedral Trade Commison
