I received a msg from a named caller who did not identify the purpose of her call. I did a reverse look-up on the number and it gave information I didn't understand. A close, computer-savvy friend was able to discover that the number was associated with Pinnacle. The call regarded a not-for -profit animal rescue I share with her,so my colleague returned the call herself. Not knowing that she had already called, I did the same a few minutes later. A very, very rude woman answered the phone, and with a sarcastic tone said, "Are you not AWARE that it is ILLEGAL for someone else to represent themselves as you? Do you not know about that law? I gave that person legal information! How could you not know that was wrong...? She did not stop to let me answer her, so I interrupted and told her that another member of the rescue often makes calls on my/the rescue's behalf. She said,"Well that is an ignorant way to handle your business, and you did this deliberately, so 'things' will escalate at this point," and immediately hung up. I had no chance to respond to even ask her what the call was about.

This regards a debt from 6 yrs. ago that I do not believe even shows up on my credit rpt anymore. As a matter of fact,I thought the issue had been resolved with the clinic.I went to another of their vet offices, paying with a check, and nothing happened. It was at the second visit, about 3 wks ago, that I was told after I paid for those services that they "shouldn't have even let me be seen here because of "my huge balance."

What should I do at this point? I am disabled, so my wages cannot be garnished. I have no assets.

I first noticed Pinnicle (Nelson, Watson & Associates, LLC) back in may 2009 so I disputed them. I disputed it twice thinking it was a mistake since i had been a T- mobile user since 2002. I personally never had Verzion, thought about switching but never have.
So today July 31, 2009 I decided i would call and find out why I had this on my credit report. Then dispute it through this company itself. I called 411 and recieved the phone number for about 10 Pinnicles and started calling. The second call in a nice lady informed me she has the number i needed. After thanking her i call and ask to be transfered to the collections department. The lady on the phone (kara) refused, then i asked to speak to her supervisor. So she hung up on me. I ended up having to give up my SSN#, Full name, and DOB to just get the number for Nelson, Watson & Associates, LLC.
After taking a few minutes to calm down after dealing with Kara. I called Nelson Watson. Now i get on the phone with Brian who seems nice for the first min of the phone call. I give him my info, He asked about an address I lived at 6 years ago and told me it was my current address. I told him he was incorrect that i lived in FL for 2 years now. . I told him i lived at that address about 6 years ago and then named the other two addresses i had lived at since. Now I felt this was a joke since I was looking at my credit report and it had my current address listed. Then he asked me to verify the account, and I told him I couldn't that I wanted to dispute it. He started laughing He then told me they have my address on file and thats all they need to link it to me. I told him he was incorrect that even if I lived at a home 6 years ago that doesn't mean that is my debt. That my mother could verify that I lived there and we never received anything from Verzion. His mood then changed He started calling my mother and I Thief's and that we were going to jail. Now that made me angry and I asked him nicely to take it back. He then called me a thief again and said anyone with a 696 Credit score didn't pay their bills, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. Shawn Who was his “Supervisor” Turns out I found out later he wasn't and he lied to me. Started to speak to me about this account and tried to make me pay with out giving me any information. Told me if I requested info that I would have to pay 1400.00 for it and something about 500.00. by then I wasn't happy. I informed him I was going to call verzion and get all the info. So he hung up on me.
I called Verzion and after 2 hours of talking to people. I find out the account was made in Feb 2005 – Aug 2006. That Verzion received one payment and left the account active for 18 months before turning it off. Then I found out it wasn't even a cell phone it was a broadband card and only had usage for on month. Feb-Mar 2005. and that the bill was 1400.00. I requested the bills and any other info and I was told they couldn't give me it because this pinnicle bought this debt. So I tell them I am disputing it and they tell me I would have to go through pinnicles frad department (they don't have one)
So I call back to Nelson Watson and get Brian again I asked to talk to a supervisor I get Shawn. Shawn hangs up on me (said something about now having time) Then I called back and asked to talk to a supervisor and it ends up being brian just acting like another person. He first said his name was Chris then half way through I asked him to repeat his name and he goes its Brian. Now I called him out and asked to speak to another supervisor and he starts saying does disputing ALL YOUR DEBT REALLY WORK if it does I will stop paying my bills and so on. He said this like 10 times then I told him I wanted to speak to his boss and a few mins later I get Brent Bergeron and he is nice and tells me I will be sent the info I asked for but I cant help but think it was Shawn and Brian playing more. Please keep in mind I called them. And this is how I was treated.
What should i do?

I found out a month ago that this PINNACLE company has posted a non-payment on my credit report with Experian for $150. This account was sold by Verizon and it was the result of a penalty for early cancellation (before 2 years term) on my wireless account. I did not have to pay the early cancellation fee because I moved overseas, returning to my country, and under those conditions you are not required to pay a penalty.
Now 4 years later I am back to the US with a negative post on my credit report. Verizon doesn't give a damn about my situation because they sold the account, although they made an illegal charge to begin with, and Pinnacle says the debt is valid. What a bunch of careless scumbags, this credit report system is screwed up.

To be honest Even if the debt isn't yours i doubt they would remove it from your Credit report. I requested a verification of debt like a month ago and they still haven't removed it from my Credit report. but they did report it as past due this month. Got to love Pinnacle.

One thing i have learned from this is I will never be a costumer of Verizon. LOL and its funny i considered switching from T-mobile (which i have had from 6 years to them) before i found this out.

I have recieved a letter in the mail from this pinnacle credit services. They are trying to levy all of my possessions and put them in control of Bank of America to satisfy a debt amount. The only problem I have with this is that I have never had a bank account, credit card or any thing else with bank of america so I have no idea what they are talking about! The letter doesn't have an amount on it so I have no idea what I apparently owe, what should I do? It doesn't even have a number on it that I can call. This whole mess is stressing me out because all I have is my car, i don't own anything else!

pinnacle claims I had a credit card through citibank opened in 2000 and paid on it for three years then stopped paying. I never heard a thing from them before. Now they have sold my debt to an attorney office who sent me a letter that says debt was 3,000 dollars but now is 8,000 dollars with all the interest and other stuff. But I never heard from them before. What can be done about this.
