Has anyone dealt with Premier Processing payday loans before? The reason I ask is that apparently my account has been transferred to a collection company called First Credit of America, however, when I call First Credit of America they have no record of my account. What suggestions do you have? I don't want this collection to end up showing up in the future and hurting me somehow. If there is no record of my account with the collection company then I am assuming I have no due account.

If the collection agency fails to verify your account information, that does not mean you have no outstanding amount. There might be some mistakes in their part.

Reconfirm who is holding your account. It seems it is not yet sent to collection. Try to settle the account with original creditor. Payday loans prove to be very expensive in long run. So repay it as early as possible. You can propose a payment plan so that both you and your creditor receive some benefits.

Hope this helps. Always feel free to discuss your problems in this forum.

I ran into the same problem. When I called the collection agency the payday company said my account had been sent to, they had no record of my account. That was almost 2 months ago. I am still just waiting for someone to contact me about the account. I think maybe the payday company has sold the debt, but I have no ideal who has it. I checked my credit report and nothing is showing concerning the payday loan.

Is this a bad technique to increase the amount of debt? We all know that rate of interest on payday loans is very very high. Now, if the creditor can make you default and delay the repayment, the amount will continue increasing like anything and ultimately they will catch you with a high amount.

The payday lender might be involved in this scam too. I am just guessing, not sure.

Stanley, all companies doing legitimate business itemize the interest rates in the loan agreement. It is better to go through the fine prints of the loan agreement and compare whether there are any variations in the interest charges.

How can First Credit of America show up in your credit report when they don't have any of your account details? They should have a legitimate cause before hitting your file.

It is better to contact your original creditor and take responsibility to settle the account with them. Dealing with them will be quite easier in comparison to the CAs. They can also offer you some benefits in your payment process.

If your creditor has sold the debt to some collection agency, they will give you the proper details of that company.

After making several trials, if you are not able to get the actual details, you might have to wait for the company that is holding your account legitimately. Use your federal rights while dealing with such companies.

Premier Processing is not giving you any information about the account. On the other hand, First Credit of America does not have any account info. You are totally struck in between both these agencies. Maybe there is a third party that is actually holding your debt and has not placed the call to you so far. I think you will have to probably wait till you get a call from them.

You are safe till this account is not appearing in your file. Monitor your report regularly so that you come to know about the latest updates.

Same story here. Lender informed my acc are with CA. I did not get any letter from anyone. I collected CA's info but CA denied to have acc with them.

After 6 mnths, the same CA is contacting me to collect the same acc that I inspected with them earlier. They're charging a huge amount since all the interest accrued. What can I do now? Why they didnt respond earlier?

(not disclosing their name here.)

Can you prove legally that you contacted the CA previously and they were not able to give you any information on this account? If you can, you have a case against them. Take the help of your lawyer and get all the charges from the last contact waived off.
