Can anyone help me with sample letters you mighthavethat I can use to:
(1)Revoke wage assignments

(2) Stop debit on my account (If I notify them in writing to stop debiting my account don't they have to by law?)

(3) Not to call my job and home limit communication to mail

(4) Verify account information

Is that all I should send? I have also noticed that alot of people have complained to the AG. Should I just go ahead and file complaints with the AG in anticipation of the hard time the payday companies are going to give me(I haven't defaulted yet but I will in a couple of weeks when it is time to pay).

1) To revoke wage assignments:

The date
Your name and address
The name and address of the creditor
Your account number with the creditor

Dear Sir or Madam,

I hereby revoke your right to use the wage assignment I signed on (The date you signed the wage assignment agreement). You no longer have my permission to use this wage assignment.

Sincerely,
Your signature

2)Not sure...I'm sure somebody here can help you with that one.

3) Cease and Desist letter:

Date:

Re: Acct # xxxxxxxxx

To Whom It May Concern:

I would like to request that no telephone contact be made by your offices to my home or to my place of employment. If your offices attempt telephone communication with me, including but not limited to computer generated calls and calls or correspondence sent to or with any third parties, it will be considered harassment and I will have no choice but to file suit. All future communications with me MUST be done in writing and sent to the address noted in this letter by USPS.

Best Regards,

Test

4) Not sure again...somebody will post it I'm sure.

Make sure to send these certified mail, return receipt requested. This ensures that they receive it.

My sister just typed a letter indicating that she revoked the wage assignment dated _____.

That was enough and the deduction was stopped immediately.

Wage assignment is a clause in a loan contract that allows the company to take the funds out of your paycheck. You are not dumb, this was new to all of us at one point! If you don't ask questions, you won't learn, and neither will anybody else.

Wage assignment is one of the ways of issuing judgments by the payday loan companies. This is a contractual agreement through which you give the PDL companies the rights to deduct wages from your payroll if you are in defaults.

When a company does wage assignment, it has to follow some legal guidelines. Check this page for more details

Is the only thing that needs to be done is to write a letter to a creditor to stop wage assignment
