As a recent fired +++++good employee+++++++, i can tell you i was fired because i would not join the thiefs in cheating people any longer. Several of us got fired, or let go because we did not collect money, the probem was we would not lie to people and lie to get information to get money they do not owe, these master of thieves. This company purchased paper from a company that was closed down by the state of nc, the company was ban from collecting the checks and told not to contact anyone, they must write the bill off because of the laws and lawsuits. Instead of doing that they sold riscuity the business for penny's on the dollar and now we or the payment people deposited all these checks knowing these peolpe did not owe all this money, see what we got told was you writed a check for 900.00 and paid 350.00 so really you just owe 550.00 but they have a check for 900. So riscuity deposits the 900.00 and keeps the money, we got told to tell you riscuity sent you the moeny but really didn't so you need to go to the attorny general and check this law suit stuff cause they is in big trouble and now all of us are getting in trouble.......you need to file a law suit or call the state. We all got canned cause we could not keep getting all of you to pay what you don't owe.

I know where you're coming from! A few months ago I was driven to quit a similar job collecting credit cards and payday loans that were years old, paid off, bankrupted, and junked in any other way. The fdcpa was barely a whisper there, and since I came from an FDCPA-abiding student loan collection agency, I could not stoop to this low, trashy level. When my collections figures were low, I was harassed and ridiculed in front of the entire office. Now, the agency I worked at has been shut down for five months now. Riscuity's time is coming!

Glad to hear others have had this type of thing happen to them. I have been in this business and also did some studen loans, state leval contract but in my moist horrid nightmares I never ever thought I would end up fighting to keep a job that I knew was acting against the fdcpa, I am just at a point in life I needed my job, and jobs are not that easy to obtain in an area that tons of collection companies have closed. I need transit so I am limited to areas. but the weight off my chest has been a blessing. I am glad it ended before I ended up in court over something that I really had no control over. I do know they don't want me on the other side, I could spill my guts and they would be in deep crap. Truth is all I want is to move on. I will someday read the paper and it was say FEDS close local collection company or FDCPA fines in millions for local agency. The few still there are going ot break every law needed to survive. i hear they also fires some of the older agents claiming they defaced the company. Is that a joke or what. this company defaced itself from day one. Most of us didn't even work here when this forum started complaints about the service and broke laws. now we are getting blame for things that happen before I came on. Its Risuity's time, and I will be glad to sit outside and watch them pack and leave, maybe even hold a sign up, YES FINALLY, or some thing that will not get me shot at but get my point across. these are crazy people, We have the drug rings of collections here. real gutter people

sounds like you are still angry, you might want to count your blessings. The best thing that happen was getting out of that place. Come back in a few months. I know you will feel as the rest of us do, blessed beyond words. You will wake up happy, not taking deep breaths to go in a door knowing it was he--. you will go to sleep and rest, not have bad dreams of what will be tomrrow. All in all you will have peace. it is worth more money than that company could ever pay you. The Edwards, Mikes, Bobs,Mitch, big men with little to offer, these people will fall, and surface again. BUT they will never be happy nor will they be successful, remember. they owe big bucks to investors so they are not sleeping well these days. Once you loose the big mans money you get a name, and that name will keep with you forever. Be glad and be forgiving, pray for them, they really need it

I hear they are down to only a dozen collectors with half of them to disappear by the end of this month. Those left are under the impression that they are still there because they are great employees when in fact they are there to help clean up the remaining paper work before shutting down. The NC account debacle happened after collections continued for six weeks after receiving cease orders from the attorney general. They are laying people off, firing and even selling their furniture probably in part due to lack of funds to pay salaries. No new contracts in, old contracts being sold. Is anyone submitting contracts to this company any more? Their rep is in the gutter.

Who ever you are you seem to know what is going on, so it tells me you are a past employee. The truth is in your statement, it is fact, but those left are not good they are the dirt that will break everylaw to make money.

I sympathize. I still wish I'd stood up to my ex manager when he would heckle and humiliate me in front of the whole office. I wish I'd told him that his behavior was unprofessional and demostrated poor leadership. Even getting sacked on the spot would have been worth it to defend my dignity.

I just wanted to let you know that I have just recently had to deal with these people at Riscuity about an overdue account and they are really dirty. They called and offered to settle for half the balance to close the account. I paid the half and then they call back about every three months saying that if I want to avoid action then I will pay the remaining balance. They are tricky, lying, conniving jerks that will do anything to get more money. Hopefully I have taken care of it. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau and made it very clear that they are wasting their time and mine trying to scam me. They think everyone is as stupid as they are.

Does anyone know if they are affiliated with America's Network? I sent a C&D to Riscuity and now am getting calls from America's Network. Seems odd to me. I called the number back and the rude lady answered "America's Network" and I asked if they were affiliated with Riscuity. She said no, but was really weird about it. These Riscuity people are awful. They actually called my boss! At this point they have still not even proven to me I owe this debt that they say I owe. If they are still contacting me after I send the C&D what do I do?

Call the Riscuity number and get a PO.Box or address and asked if your account was sold to another agency. Then call the new agency and ask for their PO.Box or address, then post both on this site along with the last name of the represenatives. Past associates can determine if Riscuity set up a collector under another company name and number inside of the same office. All they have to do is file with the state and pay the license fee to have another company under the same umbrella and that's public record.

Sub: If you paid it you would not be in collections

Hey for all those that said riscuity is breaking the law. I have one thing to ask you. Did You pay your bill like you said you would? Never forget you can't get put in collection if you paid your bill. If you know something about what the collectors are calling about. don't act like you don't know. don't say send me a letter. Do the write thing make arrangement to pay it. If you can't pay in full work something out with them. And if they did break the fdcpa then they will get whats coming to them, but you as a debtor probably has more then one outstanding debt do you think you won't have to pay that. OH for those that said Riscuity took money out of there account. You got a pay day loan. you gave a check or authorized to do a bank withdrawal to honar payment with the original creditor. That Creditor gave you a contract that states what would happen if you didn't have the funds on the date you aggreed upon, you signed that. Some creditor even state they would hit your account until the funds is recouped. But the fund more then likely don't get recouped. but the debtor checking is closed and they can't get another until they handle this. So what am i trying to say. Be accountable for your action. They don't go away!!!!!

Hey PAY YOUR BILL person What has any of what you said have to do with collectors calling for weeks after the A.G. processed cease orders? Or not supplying refunds in a timely manner? Or collection on already paid accounts? Or rudeness? There are 15 pages of complaints about company proceedure and attitudes, not weather or not a bill was due. You're missing the point. These people were not speaking of refusal to pay. They're commenting on questionable collection proceedures made by this company.
