This is not RJM Acquisitions. If you provide us some details, we might be able to assist you.

Hi Shanna,

This isn't a book club website, its a website to help people get out of debt. You should try & contact Crossings book Club @ service@memberservice.com

I recived a collection letter from this company about a B of A debt I paid over 4 years ago, past the SOL. I called them and they said they bought the debt back in November. It is not reporting on my credit report as of now and they say I need to pay them in order for it not to report. They said it will show up in 30 days if I dont pay. What do I do to get these guys to go away and not report it on my credit, besides I already paid the thing. What a bunch opf bull @#$!. I have been reading on this site about sending a DV will that get them to drop it? Any advice.

I am trying to buy a house and when my credit report was pulled there was something from Book of the Month Club and it was in collection with RJM Acquisitions so my realtor told me to get ahold of them and talk them down on what they want to settle. It went from $58 to $10 in about 3 minutes... So they are easy to work with if you just stay calm with them.

The account was closed in Dec 04 but they just bought it in Oct 08.. That was kinda fishy but if you need to get it off the report just stay calm and you will prevail.

Hi jcor75225, it could be a scam. Run the phone number they called from through Google and see what you find.
Do you have any proof you paid it? Copy that and send it with DV letter. But I would wait and see if it actually does show up on your credit report and Dispute it through the credit reporting agency.

Hope this helps.

I recently got a decision against RJM based upon a defective notice. I am looking for consumers who received these notices in NY, NJ or Conn.

This is not RJM. This is DebtCC, a forum helping people with financial issues. You need to send them a request for debt validation. See sample letters on the right side of the page.

I never had a wachovia account and here RJM Acquisitions LLC got collection against me for the debt that i have no idea! . And i have called wachovia they dont even have my name in their system.
RJM is a SCAM and shouldnt be allowed to keep their license or run this kind of SCAM FALSE DEBT BUSINESS. I have read several other complaints about similar Wachovia account collection by RJM.
