I was annoyed by this outfit for years. They said they were collecting for Dish network which I was never a subscriber to. They reported my name to the credit agencies so I told them I would pay part of it if they would restore my credit. They took the money, but still sullies my credit. In my opinion both Dish and RJM should be put out of business.

Is it common practise for RJM to purchase accounts without checking the validity first?!

Im trying resolve my debt with RJM, and i really do appreciate that you have the programs that your company offer. But i want to know if you have any online access or account access to view your progress with payments? Where i can view dates, summaries of payments, and how much is owed? This would help me so much!

They are a BS company that purchases fake dept. I sent them threatening letters from fake Lawyers (They use fake debt, so i used fake lawyers) and guess what. They backed down and dropped my dept. They wont go through with trying to fight lawyers, and they know they would lose because they have no valid claims. Those who pay them are fools.

Hi my car was taken form me but what is funny is that I can prove that I made all my payments. I never got a letter or phone call that my car was about to be repoed I just woke up one morning and it was gone. I thought someone stole it. I call my bank and they said they could see where my payment was made but they just said oh well to late now. What can I do?

Should I pay this company, are they to be trusted, if not how do I get them off my credit report, I would like to settle the dispute against me promply and I have the money to do so but are they completely legit and if so how should I go about paying them as to keep everything well documented so that they can not say that I did not pay them?

First, have you ever received a letter of collection in the mail? If you have, did you request validation via the mail, certified return receipt requested. You want to make sure they are legally able to collect this debt before you do anything. Never admit to owing a debt on the telephone, and please don't negotiate on the phone either, all communication should be in writing.

My 17 yr old and they want me to pay $87.35 for a bookclub membership from 4 years ago. When I was 13 I didnt even know my SSN. Without my SSN, how can they put something on my credit? Plus, in SC the SOL is 3years.

Obviously RJM Acquisitions is a Fraud if they're trying to collect debt from minors. Since I've read everyone comments; they wont get 1/2 a penny from me!!

Concerned with BofA.

Is there a 5 or 7 yr end of collecting period for checksystems, or is being caught up in checksystems a lifetime sentence??

RJM has bought a 'debt' - is this a case of a debt collector harrasing or is it a serious proble? Never have had problems with banks before but thanks to these mergers weird things are going on.

thank you anyone for your help on this.
