Friends, I feel great for you people coming out of the payday loan mess. You all are taking things under control. Remember, when the loans are paid off, you must get something in writing from the company. This statement is a proof that you don't have any further dues with the respective companies. Otherwise, some one will come back again later asking for the same amount. You should have all your transactions well documented so that no one can make more money out of you.

Thanks for the advice John, I think all of us are getting either emails or letters from all of these companies already. I know that each one I've gotten paid off or forgiven I've gotten written documentation from.

A lot of us on here are working really hard to get out of the messes we've gotten ourselves in to and are more than willing to help others that ask for it.

Hey Tammy,

I sent a letter to Sonic and they called me and stated that they are in Ireland, that they do not have to abide by the laws here. What kind of letter did you send them?

VLD told me that they do have to obide by the laws of the state in which the borrower lives. They even had a live operator from their site admit to that. They are playing games.

What is "the letter"? It seems to be working for a lot of people.
