Just a quick update. Things are sure looking up for me. God has been so good. The bank reversed the PDL check they had paid. I still don't know if that means the PDL companies bank takes the money from them but I feel ok about it since I already had payment arrangements set up. Anyway, I was a month behind on my rent so with this last paycheck I needed to pay April and May rent which took most of my check. I wasn't going to have enough to pay T&C. I went to spend Mother's Day with my family and when I came home Sunday I had rec'd 2 checks in the mail which totaled enough to take care of my T&C payment. I had cashed out a retirement account from like 7 years ago that was only making like $4 a year. It was only up to $400. So after taxes I had a little over $300. I also got a rebate check from when I had signed up for earthlink. These were 2 things that I knew were coming just not when. I feel so good that I pretty much have things caught up until next payday. Working with T&C is taking so much stress off me.
One request, please pray for me as I am in the process of looking for a new job. Also a friend of mine is giving me a kitten so that will help fill up the empty space left by the death of my kitty Smokey. I know you pet owners will understand.
Thank you everyone for all of your support. You have all been a great help to me.
Thats it for now. T

Hi celticlass
You are in my thought. I will pray to God that you get the job of your choice. It's nice to hear that you are coming up with better updates in regular intervals. You have learnt your lessons with payday loans and I am sure it won't be repeated again.
Spend some time with the kitten and you will enjoy it. I know the space left by Smokey can never be substituted but still give this kitten your maximum love and affection. Stay well and keep in touch

Hey T
It's so nice to hear that things are looking up! It is very refreshing and encouraging to hear of progress from the nice folks here whom I consider my friends. My prayers will go your way as you search for a new job.

You know, when back when I collected student loans, some of the debtors would offhandedly mention their cats when detailing their expenses, and I would just melt and give them discounts on their loan rehabs!

My two new friends from work have eleven cats in their house and a new baby! They have six adult cats, and five kittens! I just visited them just this Sunday after work just after the baby was born. Me and the new mom spent the afternoon playing with the new baby and feeding it, while the new dad fixed a delicious dinner for all of us.

LOL!!! That's a full house!!!!
When my son was born, my doc brainwashed me about how dangerous it is to have a cat around a new baby.... nonsense!! The first thing my cat did was climb in the crib and protect my little boy.

I just talked to a lady today that has 21 kittens!!
Seven feral cats gave birth to kittens all about the same time at her house - she feeds them so they stay around her house. She said one litter is already litter box trained and eating kitten chow.
I am going next week (I'm going out of town this weekend so can't go to play) to look at them. I'll have a hard decision! I love calicos and she has two calico kitters and get a playmate for my older baby (cat) - he's 6 years old, all black with yellow/green eyes and his name is Scamper. Finally one of the cat rescues here are coming out this weekend to trap/neuter/spay/release the feral cats we have a whole bunch - I live in a mobile home park. Six cats stay arouond my house but I don't feed them we are not supposed to per park rules.

I heard from a friend that calicos are also dubbed "money cats". Isn't that interesting?
I was recently telling a customer about how my husband is such a cat magnet1 It's always the female cats snuggling up to him too! She laughed and said "It must be a sex thing!"

I never heard of that one before about Calicos! I know the cat we had before my husband passed away always laid on his lap when he sat down and laid between us in bed. The cat I have now lays up against me at night. He's sorta been my cat but yet he's a loner so I want to get him a playmate.
