I receive several emails everyday for payday loans. Some of them are from the companies I defaulted on and then spent months paying off. Like I would be dumb enough to take out a loan again after spending a year trying to pay them off!!!! I definately have learned a lesson.

These types of invitation mails are sent regularly to tempt people. It all begins from the day when your contact email is entered in the company's database. It is a way of advertising about the company and trap down the consumers. It hardly matters whether you have been their privileged customer in the past or not.
You might ignore it once, twice,... but someday, you will definitely go for it. Don't let that day ruin you again.

You wouldn't believe the emails I get from the payday loan places. I have a new email address and they have some how gotten it. I just block the sender and delete them.

I know, you look at a website and put your email address in once and then EVERYONE has it. And some are very tempting to open.

Most of the mail service providers have the utility by which spam mails can be blocked. Mark such mails as spam and block it permanently.

Delete them as fast as you can. Don't pass go, don't collect 2 "bills." Just say no.

Hi Kathryn
There is a specific button called 'Spam' among the various utility buttons available in your mail server. Just click on it when you want to avoid a particular mail from entering your mailbox next time.

some email services make you click into them to mark them as junk mail...that gives you enough time to read the first couple of seconds that say MONEY NOW...resist!

Some mail providers also let you filter e-mails - when I used hotmail I would use it regularly. You can filter any e-mail that contains "paycheck", "loan", "payday", or whatever else you might waht right into the trash. It worked wonders for me when I used it. I don't know which other e-mail providers do this, but see if yours does! That way you don't ever have to see it again

The only thing I have on my yahoo email is the ability to delete things with a SPAM button. It always gives me a special "thrill" (that sounds weird!!) to delete it SPAM!

This weekend I have deleted more spam from pdls. I love to send them to the junk email folder and sometimes I email them back and tell them just what I think about pd ls.

Ooooh I'd be afraid they would take it as a positive sign and then I would be bombarded if I did that

Lorri, they tend to back off when they get a response back in a certain manner, they don't send anymore emails for a long while. The pdl emails I am receiving are ones that I have already gotten forgiven. Like I would be stupid enough to get another one. I will never get another pdl as long as I live. These damn loans almost cost us our home, vehicles, putting food on the table and on more than one occasion, my hubby was warned of his job if the pdls called his job again. Funny thing is, these places think it is so funny to call your place of employment and harass you. They don't realize that if they cost you your job, they won't get their money money any faster.
