Hi Gang,
I just wanted to give you a little update on my pdl progress. I've given some information to my lawyer regarding an internet payday lender. I'm not going to say the name in case they maybe monitoring the forums. It seems I have a strong case against them. I can file suit in Ohio under deceptive and predatory lending practices. There maybe some other charges in there, including harassment. My lawyer is looking further into the matter so we can build a stronger case against them. It's just time to fight back a little stronger.

Go ahead, Avenger if you are sure of a case against them. The company must compensate you if you win the case. Money is a secondary thing that counts here. The most important thing is to practice the business lawfully. And I am sure, that one has gone to the extremes in violating the laws because of which you get the legal stand. Go ahead, my best wishes are with you.

I definately have a legal case against them. It has been confirmed with my lawyer. It's really not about the money at this point, it's about the principle. I have been told the law is on my side in this matter.

And you wouldn't believe how this company has violated laws not only in my state, but others as well. My lawyer couldn't believe some of the stuff that I turned over to him. That's all the further I'm going to get into that but we'll see how it goes.

Good for you! More people should stand up and fight back. I wish to God I had never taken out my first payday loan and as most of you, if I had it to do over, never would have. If I could get rid of them, I could catch my regular bills up and get out of this nightmare.
I still cannot believe that pdls monitor this forum, that's really disappointing, thought it was a safe haven.

Tiffany, welcome to the forum! A lot of people used to think that this was a safe haven but it does seem that the pdls do monitor this forum and have actually responded to some members using their own words that they posted on here. I think it's sad that we now all to be so very careful of what we say on here but then again it's really no different than any other parts of our lives. Keep joining us and you will find us a nice group to be around! Again, welcome.

it would be great if they had to pay back what they took from everyone who borrowed from them over the years who paid excessive amounts! Maybe you'll win this one for all of us!
