Please inform target that account was opened by fraud/identity theft and you honestly did not open.They are required to follow the Facta amendment of the fair credit reporting act. You should file a police report and download identity theft affidavit from www.ftc.gov. Send this information to Target and all three credit bureaus certified return receipt demanding removal based on identity theft.

I pulled up my credit report yesterday and discovered that an account had been opened in my name in August of 2006. I did not open this account and i would like to know who i can talk to get this account resolved and the bad credit off my report.

I phoned to get target to lower my apr and go transfered to someone else i couldnt understand and said i agreed to cancel my card. I never agreed to cancel anything and after speaking to several managers and supervisors, still nothing was done. Keep in mind i was a loyal member for over 6yrs, who was NEVER over the limit, never passed due and never late. Always paid more than amt due and PAID before the due date. Whatever happened to customer service and the loyal immaculate consumer with the perfect credit worthiness?

Not letting Target Get away with treating Floridians like this anymore.......PLEASE DONT BUY FROM TARGET ANYMORE OR YOU TOO WILL BE TREATED IN THE SAME FASHION. THEY FORGOT WHO PAID THIER SALARIES!

Unfortunately all credit card companies are like that and it is getting worse because of the current economic conditions.

what can i do about a bill i payed to target and i still have the proff and the came back a year later and took it out of my bank account adding intrest. they said on papper i o 3000. i payed in full now there telling me i o 7000/ where can i go for help i have the proff i payed what they ask for. i live in calif
