I made a huge error using UCL I needed $$ quick to keep my house and took me fro april to July to pay in full. Hard lesson but needed to pass it on. On $350 they took 105.00 every other week until 4th pymt then took $155.00. They are friendly until you call to pay in full then I was called a B when I said it was a rip off and I was reporting them. I live in IN . God Bless us all in the USA a dishonest company can use the poor to get rich!

the UCCC's more important provisions are given below. Maximum Rates
The Indiana Uniform Consumer Credit Code limits the amount of finance charge a creditor in Indiana can receive.

Credit Sales / Loans

The following rates can be charged on credit sales or loans effective 07/01/04:

36 % on amounts financed up to $990, plus
21 % on the portion of the amount financed from $990.01 to $3,300,
plus 15 % on the portion of the amount financed over $3,300; or
21%, whichever is greater.
A seller/lender can collect a minimum

Does anyone know where this scumball company actually exists? They refuse to accept my e-mail responses aclaim I still owe them $530 on a $300 loan. They won't get it, since my bank has cut them off. But, if anyone has a mailing address for these crooks, please e-mail it to terrance.quinlan@yahoo.com.

Thanks

UCL is run on the lands of the Miami Indian tribe in OK
I elieve they are in an agreement with the Modoc tribe and run both the loan and collections together on this "soverign" land however they have signed off to folow the federal guidlines and that would include the fdic they are in total violation of all laws and claim they dont have to adhere to the laws because they are indians.

pisses me of because the "sticking it to the white man" mentality s so wrong and gives good business' that many tribes run a bad name. Start calling the Miami tribes chief (its on their website and complain everytime they call you(

call the bia in your area to complain

Sub: #187 Is United Cash Loans licensed in the state of TN?

I recently found myself in the middle of a financial crunch after losing everything. United Cash Loans deposited a $300 loan in my bank account. I apparently missed some very important details in the "fine" print. In the past 5 weeks they have deducted $360 from my bank account and are still billing me with a balance of $390.00!!!!! How can this be legal??? Does anyone have any advice?

Just wanted to say that i took a loan out with them also and when they started taking out charges that were not authorized by me, I told my bank and they closed my account and put a block on it also to make sure that no charges came through. Then when i started to get emails from them, i did the re- payment plan (without giving them my banking acct. info), just my check card info and if they start taking charges that were not agreed on then i am able just to cancel that card number and get issued a new one- which they will not have access too. That is working so far but i did have to change my phone number because i could NOT get them to stop calling!!!! It is a pain in the a**, but it sure made my home ALOT quieter!!!! If i had to do it all over, it is definitely NOT worth the temporary solution that it provides. DON'T DO IT!!!!!!!

You gave them your check card number? Hopefully your plan works; but I don't know, considering how tricky UCL is, I'd keep a very, very close watch on my account; once they get into your account and grab more money than agreed upon, there's not a whole lot anyone can do about it. But good luck, and keep us posted how this works out.
