Also they violate Ok. state laws regarding pdls. Rollovers are not permitted there and rates are $15 per $100 if up to $300 is borrowed and $10 per $100 if $301-$500 is borrowed. I don't know about you but they charged me way more for my loan.

Me also. Definately report them to Oklahoma. I'm sure they will investigate it.

Try to pay them off call a week early if you have to and then run. I would also close that bank account. I dont trust this company they just keep on taking. What state are you in? KYSIDE38

Please let us know what state you are in. Renewals are illegal in many states! This company will suck you dry. Go to the bank and close your account-but before you close it find out their policy on ACH debits coming through on closed accounts. Some banks allow them to go through and this reopens the account and then you are stuck with NSF fees and that could create a whole new problem. If the bank says they do allow this, ask them to put a hard hold on it so no debits can come through, and then close it and open an account at a NEW bank. This will get UCL out of your wallet and put you back in charge of your money.

Back in June my husband and I filled out a request ofr a PDL online. He received a call the following day from United Cash Loans requesting further information and a number to contact his employer. A few days later the $300 was deposted into our checking. We have never received anything in writing from this company and we never formally accepted this PDL. They took $90 once a month and then started taking $90 every two weeks. My husband called them and they stated that they do not have a record of them sending us an email or confirmation for the loan but we still have to pay it. I'm not sure what to do with this because we never agreed to the terms of the loan. We are in the state of Ohio and by Ohio law PDL's can not be renewed. Does anyone have any advise??

How much have you paid them back so far? Could be that you really have already paid them in full. If they are renewing your loan, then they are breaking the law. Let us know how much you have paid them and it might turn out that you technically have already paid them in full, including interest.

I got a $300 loan from United Cash in MAY of 2007 and they are still debiting me. I tried to tell them, after the 3rd renewal, that they'd taken enough money from me to re-pay my debt and should call it good.

To date I've paid these people almost $900 for a $300 loan!!!!!!! They are set to take $110 from me on the 14th of this month and I just can't afford it anymore!

I'm in the state of Colorado where more than 1 renewal is ILLEGAL, and also in the Army so thought they could only take so much from me before I could get them in trouble?

HELP ME!!!!

They are RUDE as hell!!!!

I called them to explain that I've paid $625 for a $300 loan and that I stopped payment on this weeks Debit because legally they couldn't renew a loan 7 times, like they have.

She (can't remember her name) said: "I am NOT one of your kids so do not talk to me like that! You will listen to ME, I am trying to talk, so listen!"

I was like "Lady I am NOT speaking with you any longer, I have a consult appt. with JAG this Thursday and you can take it up with the Army!"

She tried to tell me that the laws where they are (Oklahoma, which is where we lived when we applied for the loan) governs what they can and can't Debit from us.

Now I thought laws regarding our loan were based on where we lived not where the Loan Co. was?!?!

UGH this is making me nervous. JAG says they have to see the paperwork from our Loan App. to see if they can even help us.
