Default Received a call today.

Today I received a call from United Cash loans on my both my cellphone and work phone offering me a loan. This has raised alot of red flags for me. What should I do to prevent them from doing the things that I have read here?

You must have mistook us with another company. We are not United Cash Loans and we haven't debited your account.

This is a debt forum where we discuss our debt problems to become debt free.

Default UNITED CASH LOANS

I received a cash loan from United Cash Loans back in Jan of 06.my Loan was for $400.00 we paid back $680.00. We closed our bank account to stop the deductions and it worked. Yesterday Feb 3, 09 we got a call from them stating we owe $525.00 almost 3 years later and they call us now! What can I do to stop them from bothering us?

file AG,and FTC complaints.this is an illegal pdl that technically owes you money not the other way around.file the complaints and tell them to pound sand.

Default ucl takes advantage of those in desperate situations

We borrowed 300 from ucl back in November. (our first time doing a payday advance) They have been debiting our account 90 every other week. Until recenly they removed an addtional 50. They are going to remove another 125 today. (Thus totaling 625 ona 300 dollar loan.) We have recently learned they are just renewal fees! Should have read the fine print. So none of the money we have been paying has been going toward the principle? Why are they charging us more than the 90 fee? Is any of that going toward the principle of the loan?
I contacted them, but since the loan was in my husband's name, they would not give me any information. I had to be a customer. My husband has not been able to make contact with them.
After reading everyone's horror stories with them, I am fearful they can just come up with some random amount that we owe. We would have to pay it. We do not want this to destroy our credit by not paying them.
Is there anyone who has actually succeeded in fighting a case against them?

Default united cash loans

I have a loan with them and I live in Indiana. I will pay back the amount I owed but they are trying to take out double payments and crazy fees. Where can I find out if they are licensed in Indiana and the laws?

Default How long

I have tried asking them to stop contacting me, yet they continue to call several times every day. Any idea how long they will continue this harassment? I don't want to change my phone number but maybe it is the best thing.

I would change my number if I were you, just tell your phone provider you are receiving threatening and harassing calls, in a case like that they will usually change it free the first time.

Default payday loans

I have also taken out a loan with ucl and paid them in full. They have since tried taking out more money out of my account, most recently they sent a fraudulent check in the amount of 465 dollars. I dont know where they got that amount. I had a stop payment put on my account for this co., but they still got the money out. I am in the process of contacting my bank because they are legally obligated by the Federal Regulation E to protect my interest regarding my bank account. If you put a stop payment it goes by a merchant no. and there is no reason why they cant stop it. No matter what the amount is. Has anyone heard about this?

once an illegal pdl has your account and routing#.they can and will get money out a number of different ways.

1)use a diff co name
2)put through a diff amount
3)put through a paper check.

that is why it's best to close the current account and open a new one.some people have done this at the same bank.while others have switched banks.

Default United Cash Loans

I can almost %100 guarantee that United Cash Loans does not operate out of Nevada. And the address that they're giving you from Oklahoma is that of an Indian Reservation ground, hence the reason its legal to conduct their business from there.. Who in the world said that they were from Nevada??
