Okay folks I live in Madill, ok. I am in the boonies...we only get a weekly paper...lol...but, I will try to contact them. However, my brother-in-law has worked for The Dallas Morning News for over 30 yrs. He is on vacation now...but, keep your fingers crossed....he kknows a lot of people in all the depts. so I will try with him as soon as I can.

Hey my local newspaper will be writing a review/thingy on this site under the business section. Should be in the newspaper and on their website. I could really use the $1000 to pay some bills

d2dtk, it will be really good if you can get your local newspaper write an article about this community. We all here are doing something good and we should be given every opportunity to get identified. Of course, you can use the reward money for your hard work done Let us know how it shapes up.

It should be in the Appeal Democrat this sunday under business section, I think they're going to do a review, not sure.

Wow, this is something that I need to check into. I will start e-mailing my local papers over the next couple of weeks. Do the reviews get posted in the forums some where? I think if would be cool if they were published all together somewhere. Just an idea

There seems to be some confusion in general.... SO I'd like to clear things up. My local newspaper, and I'm sure most, allows an individual to submit an article if they find it good. So the question is, can we do it or do we HAVE to get someone from the newspaper to write a review on the community? I think I'd do fine writing a review, especially since I've gotten to know the community well.

I'd like to tell people about this community as well as mention how the laws just changed. We don't have any storefront pdls in this community, but I can see people having other debt problems, and this is a great community.

I sent an email to The Bulletin (Bend OR), and cc'd it to Vikas. We'll see what they say about writing an article or letting me write one. I can't wait to share this information with others.
