I read something on another thread posted by a member informing us that Volleyball Mom has not posted in over a week because she was frustrated by the lack of support she received if she diagreed with certain members opions. I find this very disturbing.
Volley has been a terrific addition to this team. She is very knowledgeable and a kind and considerate person. She rose to HOF status faster than anyone I have seen. Her post about whats for dinner has been a topic of daily chatter since its conception, receiving literally thousands of replys. I know she is still reading these threads so please everyone let her know how you feel and try to encorage her to come back and be part of this family again.
I have no idea who the person or persons were that offened her and I really don't care. I just want her to return as she will be sorely missed! If there is one of you who feels an apology is in order I am sure she would graciously accept it and be quick to forgive!

I agree she has some valuable information to this thread. What issues does she have with members? Has she addressed these issues either with the members or with a site admin? What offended her?
With this information, maybe we can pull together and resolve the problems.

The purpose of this thread is to show support. I know sort of what happened but that has to be handled internally. The purpose of this thread is simply to show support.

Volley and Kash both felt offended by something that happened a few weeks ago, and that is why they aren't posting. Admin is aware of the situation, and is working on it.
They both need to look at this in a different way - If they stop posting because someone offends them, doesn't that other person/people win?
They both are very loved, and must start posting again soon! YYYYYY

I agree. You should not let something said on a public forum cause you to change your life. If it was a guest - your best option is to ignore. If it was a new member, ask them to clarify. If it was an older member, talk to them about it in a PM.
More than likely, the situation falls into one of two things: either the poster is just trying to rile you up and lacks the skill to have a proper debate, or their was a simple communication error, either from poor wording or lack of inflection, that has caused a simple misunderstanding.
Talk it out, folks. Everything usually works itself out in the long run.

I, for one, have noticed a huge difference without volley or kash here. There are many posts going unanswered, posts where their expertise would be welcomed. They are extremely vaulable members of this community. I can't count how many people they have helped, including myself. They have stood behind me through thick and thin giving 100% of themselves to me. And I will do the same for them. I don't know the details; however, I do know that they are greatly missed. Missed by everyone, including me. We need your knowledge, your wisdom, your sense of humor, your unselfishness, your caring, and your reassurance here - volley and kash. We miss you and we need you. You have my support 110%. If you need anything or there is anything I can do, just name it.

Cannr thank you. That is exactly the kind of response that was needed here. Someone else here just does not get it. This is not about why or how to solve it! It is about caring and the loss of two people who are contributors and TEAM players. Not a person who feels that he or she may act indepently from the group and thinks it is OK to say and do what suits them for whatever hidden agenda they may have. I have seen this too many times!

Volley definitely has my support. She always answered my questions and helped me learn without making me feel stupid. I miss her.
On a side note: I also miss her ever changing avatars, kept me on my toes and kept me smiling.

Me too! One day she suddenly turned into a plate of spaghetti! I was immediately cheered up by that! She will be back. She will want to read the next chapter of my story and if she is not back there may never be one!

Oh - I am soooooooooooooo sorry, froggie? I am sorry I just don't bow down and beg VBM to come back. For the fact of the matter, I would like for her to return. Show me where in the hell I never said she should stay away. The fact is there are issues - MAJOR issues around here. Issues that seem to have grown from numerous people acting as if they are 12 years old and not adults. Making mountains out of molehills, talking about members behind their backs and shoving their noses into business they have nothing to do with. So if VBM and kash have refused to post here, they need to talk it out either with a site admin or an unbiased moderator and work towards a resolution.
Since no one that posts here is actually on any payroll, then no one is forced to actually say a single word on this site. We all come here to support each other and work towards resolving each others issues. Take a closer look at my post - I ATTEMPTED TO DO BOTH! So forgive me for not begging for a member to return - I will do nothing of the sort. I will only hope that whatever is keeping them away does not take up too much of their time and that they can bring their knowledge and desire to assist others through the financial suffering they are under. Members that hit HOF status do so because they are a wealth of information - losing that information means others have to try and pick up their absence.
If you want some good members too return, how about some support threads for Jessi, Ari, JJ, LCW..... the list goes on.
