It's not necessarily illegal drugs . . . . They are saying there were prescription meds nearby him. It could just be an old fashioned accident, not drug abuse.

It is sad and even if it was accidental or not I believe that all the celebs in the news nowadays with drug and alcohol problems is a serious issue.

I know I talk to my kids at every opportunity about this topic.

ok...call me stupid ( I am having one of those days) but I saw his pic. he looked very young. But I don't know who he is Embarassed

It is sad that a young person dies like this. Can someone list which movies he was in. I guess I am living in the dark ages Embarassed

He was Mel Gibsons son in Patriot, he was Billy Bob Thortons son in Monster Ball (the one who killed himself), and most famous I think for Brokeback mountain

He was only 28 and was recently talking about another actor who had died at 25 apparently a suicide I really believe (Heath) was an accident..I can't remember the other person he spoke about but they said Heath wanted to fashion his life after him. I don't believe he wanted to do it this way though.

The $20.00 bill that was rolled up by him was tested negative for drug use....

Perhaps he had the $20.00 in his pocket and had emptied his pockets out, just because it was rolled up I guess doesn't necessarily mean anything...but I am sure they would test it since the cause of death was inconclusive.

This was too sad for me to watch anymore. I had to change the channel, but it was on every channel I turned to. He looked exactly like an ex of mine. He was also in a movie called The Order. That was a weird movie, but he was hot in it. I heard that he really was disturbed by the character of the Joker for the new Batman movie he had just finished filming. The Joker that he plays is really dark and disturbed. It's so sad....he left behind his daughter that he absolutely loved....that's why i know it wasn't suicide. Sad
