I called Arrowhead today and told them that they were not state licensed in the state of Utah and I had a loan out for 200.00 and I have paid them 660.00 and he told me to hold and when he got back he said that he talk to his manager and that I was paid in full. are they pretty good about not taking out money when they say that my account is paid in full. and should I get refund

I'm not sure about them not taking money from your account even though they say it is paid in full. Demand a letter from them through email stating that your loan is paid in full just in case they try to debit. The letter would be your proof for disputing unathorized debits to your account. Also, I would ask for a refund.

Bryan - file a complaint on this company with your state Department of Financial Institutions (see info on the other thread you started about GFSIL). Include all the information you possibly can, and request that the Department fight on your behalf for a refund. Hopefully they will respond. Utah's laws are not very consumer-friendly, however.

Please keep us posted.

$660 for a $200 loan!! You must claim for a refund. Contact your state AG's office also for investigations on them. They'll have to return you the excess amount.

You can also prepare a letter to send to them revoking authoriztion to make any further debits, just to be on the safe side.
