I just had my mortgage modified. I used a loan mod/mortgage. No outrageous fees. $995. I had a mortgage at 6.50%, never had a late payment but my income has gone down a lot due to the economy.

My new loan is 3%!

There are good co's out there amongst all the scammers.

3% is the correct rate and my term was switched to 40 years. My payment is now $2k/month less!

Chris and Andrea,

I'm not sure who that person used, but there are a lot of good companies out there. If you are interested, you are welcome to contact me and I am happy to walk you through the process and let you know if we can help you out or not. My company regularly celebrates jumbo mods for our clients. We also have a partial client list that you can call and chat with about their mods. They can let you know how it went for them. I'm more than happy to help answer any questions you may have. My advice, don't wait too long, guidelines change every day.
