BIG-INT is a fraudulent company, and they are fishing for your information. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION!!!!

How do I know this? These folks FRAUDULENTLY created a dedicated server under my name and have been using it for the last two weeks to send out spam and fish for people's information. It's hard to prosecute folks who are located outside of the US and probably in India or Africa.

BE AWARE AND HANG UP THE PHONE IF THEY CALL!!!

Thank you for the warning, hopefully it will prevent a few people from getting taking advantage of.

How is your situation now with them? Did you get it all straightened out? If not, I hope you get it straight soon.

If they created a server under your name and used it to troll for information on the net, then you should contact law enforcement about that, since that's fraud! The more complaints that are made the quicker they are shut down.

I'm an IT consultant dealing with the Web and ecommerce, among other things.

What do you mean "created a dedicated server under my name"? More information, please.

@unclewolf
My old IT administrator (who no longer works for me) was tricked by them... don't as me how... and he gave someone from Big-Int his username and password to our account at the company that runs our dedicated servers.

**UPDATE**
Over the weekend, I had my hosting company disconnect Big-Int's So today, someone from their company called my hosting company and "demand" that they put their server back up. Apparently, they were pretty convincing and my hosting company called me because they were confused. It looks like Big-Int had attempted to "threaten" them into putting the server back up. They even said that they were going to go to the office of my hosting company and talk to them in person. I told my hosting company to call the police when the crooks were on the premise... Of course, I know they won't show up... They're in India or Africa!

Like Kash said, they are in the UK and go by several different names such as GFSIL and Route 66 funding! You think they are in India as they hire Indian in=mmigrant in the UK.

Well, I finally got the worms out of my account and they are no longer hosting their scam site on an illegally purchased server.

Wow, they really are in the UK? I'm guessing that the UK doesn't have consumer protection laws. It's hard to beleive that they would let something like this (or Route 66) go on for as long as they have.

That right there's a good reason for him not to be working for you any more.....
