i need a loan of about 1400 and i read somewhere about installment loans. are they the same as payday loans? worse? better? does anyone know of any good installment load providers that don't care about credit history?

AN installment loan is merely a loan with a fixed number of equal payments, an example would be a car loan. Theres no such thing as a loan provider that does not care about credit histories unless it's a PDL.
How did you do today with stopping payment on that check?

There are the super high interest installment loans, places like Cash Call and Think Cash. These loans are awful. You borrow $2500, pay back $10,000. It's really not worth the headache.
