Go to Prosper dot com. They are real and many people here have a loan with them.

I'm probably in a similar situation as you. I've spent countless hours on the internet trying to find a non-payday loan, but it's just not happening. Someone here suggested Prosper.com. That site is okay, if your credit score is decent. If you have what they consider a "D" credit rating or worse, like I do, then it's a possibility that you will not get help. With bad credit, be prepared to go through the extra steps like providing documentation and explaining your "game plan" to rectify your bad credit situation. With every other applicant on that site, you will also need to explain how you plan to repay the loan. I submitted a loan request on the site over a year ago, but withdrew it later because there was no way I was going to get funded, not with my credit. Don't rule it out, though. You never know, you might get the help you're looking for.

There are some other "peer to peer" lending resources, the only one I can remember right now is "Loanio.com" which is a new program that is set to launch pretty soon.

Best of luck to you.
