Have you been making any payments at all on the car, or has it just been going unpaid all this time?

I am not sure what your options are going to be, if you've already talked to the finance company regarding payment arrangements. I'm sure someone else will come by with more advice for you.

My advice. "hide your car as long as you can til you can save enough to catch up on payments." I am currently in the exact same position. I am 3 1/2 mo. behind. Pray, Pray, Pray.... that you dont get caught.

I agree - Hide the car and pay as much as you can. They don't really want the car, they want their money. If you leave the car where they know where it is, they will take it and recoup their money later.

Best wishes to you.
