Has anyone ever heard of B.I.G Loans or B.I.G-int payday loans???? they contacted me offering a loan. It seems lioke these days you cant just find a pay day loan lender, you have to go through a site that sends your infor to multiple lenders. Anyway, when they called my job to verify employment and i guess offer the loan i told them they had the wrong number and no one by MY NAME worked here. Does anyone know of this company?

Beware, companies will send offers like these because of the holidays. I have no idea about this company but I know that the number of scams go up during holidays. You did the right thing by speaking with them straight and not interested in the loan. However, since you are not sure how they got you and unfortunately, if your info is shared, keep monitoring your checking account regularly. You will immediately find out a suspicious transaction taking place.

Your bank should not allow any debit unless you have authorized the company. There has to be a contract in writing. When you see something suspicious in your account, contact your bank and find out the details. They can dispute the charges and get your money back. However, if you let them know in advance, a particular company can be blocked in advance and there won't be any debits from them, even by using different amounts.

Thanks, Thats what i thought...it would be illigal to just go in without a written or verbal recordiong allowing a debit, thus, they would have to deposit first then start debiting finance charges i would assume. All the same, thanks for the heads up..so far they havent called back and i doubt they will.

Make sure you know what is happening in your account. You will soon come into action even if there is anything slightly suspicious.
