Just an FYI I received a yellow card in the mail today about a pending settlement with Ameriquest Mortgage Company. They screwed a whole lot of people and are having to pay up. Each state has a minimum payout from AQ, my state in particular is $600. Anyhow the information can be found at this website

I am with them currently but we are in the process of refinancing out. We are going with a local bank. I read my AG's site where they had been sued. Hubby and I wonder if we'd ever get anything but at this point, we are glad to be rid of them soon This is good info so thanks for posting it!

I just got back from Columbus and we got one of those little cards in the mail today from Ameriquest Settlement. I'm not sure how much we are going to get but it says we will get papers from our state official within the next two weeks. This is good news, especially since we are telling them to kiss off pretty soon I will not miss them one bit.

Just a quick update; I receieved the forms from the settlement company and signed off on them. One loan I am getting back about $800 and the other is $400 (I refinanced with this company) This amount will not go down but it might go up depending on how many people participate in my state. The forms are due by Sept 10 2007 and they hope to disperse the monies sometime this fall. This will pay for my kids Christmas this year, YEAH!

Well folks the checks went out in the mail this past Friday,(12-14) so if you didn't get your settlement check as of today it will come. Took them forever but its going to be a good Christmas for those of us ripped off by this company.

BY the way these are the folks that started the whole crumble of the mortgage industry, hopefully more lawsuits will make these charlatains pay
