Denied credit by my bank

I recently got denied credit by my bank for refinancing my car loan because of medical bills. The thing is I owe money to like 17 different medical collectors and i don't know where to start with paying them and not only that but if i could pay them i couldn't do it all at once... so i was hoping i could get help by a debt consolidator and pay them 1 payment amount and have them pay each collector.

The bank may have denied credit because of your past debts. Good credit score is very important to any lender before they can grant new credit. You have to first take care of your previous accounts and improve the credit ratings. Hire a consolidation company and combine all the debts under one repayment plan. They will negotiate with the collectors for a lower pay off. Once everything is paid off, you will get competitive interest rates from different lenders

So you have a family member or friend who would be willing to co-sign with you? If so, showing you are paying current on a loan in addition to consolidating and paying off your medical bills might boost your credit score a good bit.

How old are the medical debts? Every debt, besides education loans, have a statute of limitation on them. Find out if they are past their reportable dates.

For the medical bills what about calling them all up and asking if you can pay part fo the amount. Or just go by date of service.
I am sorry you didn't get approved. I see Anthony posted a link to get a free consultation. I hope they can help you!

Find out if any of these debts are past Statute of Limitation.
