I found a site that you can earn some extra money on. But - It's kinda wierd. I started it 2 months ago, and just got my first check last week. I didn't want to post about it until the check cleared.
You get money for doing surveys and offers. Some of the surveys are not "real" surveys, but if you just keep clicking no to all the offers you do get through it. They also give you money for signing up for things like ebay, efax, stuff like that. Most of them are free trials, so you can cancel before you get charged. But you have to be careful, there are some that you will get charged. But they will say the cost before you click on the link to it. If you do this I'd set up an email account just for it, because you will get flooded with junk email. They send you your earnings each month, it's not something you request to cash out.
If anyone wants to know the site, send me a PM. It's not something where you can make a lot of money, although there are people that make a few hundred. I made $40 my first month, probably putting in a couple hours. I wouldn't call it a great money making thing, but if your bored and want to make a few extra bucks a month it works.

My wife does those sometimes! She was "going green" for people on a site call freeipod.com . It was time consuming and she ran out of offers. There are a few of them out there. Some people who pay for "greens" as they are called actually do get big cash prizes and TVs and such. There was one woman that actually does it full time. I was surprised to find this post without any responses.

I have seen the advertisements while surfing. I always wondered if they were legit. Nice to know some are. And Goudah...forty dollars will help with the dog food

I've been doing those. I have been looking in vain for a second job and until then been doing these online.
I have earned a little more than $150 in the past month. doing a few offers each day, not really consistently, though I am starting too now.
the ones I am on are:

I tried this once and I got charged by one even though I canceled it. I decided to stop doing it cause you have to call all these places before the trail runs out. Some try to talk you into something so it was to much trouble. To much time invovledkeeping up with the trial periods and phone no.s to call and cancel.Wasn't worth it to me.The greens I think is along those lines .I was thinking about trying it but if it is like the other I don't want to.

Some of the offers you do have to give them credit card info for the free trial period - But I don't do those ones. I only do the 100% free ones where they don't ask for that kind of info.

It is best to play it safe. We had our paypal hit early before my wife could cancel and found out the hard way, on the check out line with a cart full of stuff. There are a couple good survey companies out there also. One has a name that sounds like a tree or something. I can't remember it but it is hard to get into. You almost have to be invited. My wife got an email invitation to join and she made a few dollars right away.

Another thing to watch out for with these firms: you might start getting huge amounts of spam in your email.

before signing up for these sites I recommend setting up a couple free e-mails (at gmail or yahoo). and if your worried about cancellations I know a lot of people get pre-paid credit cards and use those. I haven't had a problem with that. I spend about a half hour a night doing my gpt sites.

This thread really caught my attention. I've been sriously wanting to find a legit work at home job. I would be interested to know if anyone can PM me with any information they might have on this.
Yeah, I have access to a potential total of 7 E-mail accounts with my ISP. If I were to do this I would set one up to use only for this survey thing.
Does anyone know where I could find the really legit ones? I don't have a lot of money to invest in this to get started; however, it might be something to do until I can find a full time job in Corporate America. Been looking for about a month now with little luck.

Goudah what is your cashcrate.com name so I can use your name as the referrer please?
Also thanks for the tip, I have been pretty busy online typing away on surveys and registrations, hopefully the time spent will be worth it, I tend to have a lot of downtime at work so at least it is being put to good use!

I joined and signed up for some really cool free samples and it didn't take long at all.
