About 7 months ago this number, and others from the same scam, started calling my cell phone. The first few times they called and tried to pump me for information. I told them to mail me the paperwork and I would have my lawyer take a look at it. They insisted I must pay right now over the phone. I hung up, and looked up the law firm they claimed to work for, only to find they only specialize in corporate bankruptcy. I called their offices to confirm this and was told by the secretary she has had several complaints of the same nature.
I then reported the numbers I had on my phone from this company to the attorney general, as well as the number they left for me to call back. On top of being harassed myself, two of my friends that I often use as a reference on applications for things such as work and a car loan, are being called as well and told they are involved in a legal lawsuit with me. I was just wandering if other people are having this same problems and have been able to shake these people off. They call 7-10 times a day, even Sundays, and its been going on for about 7 months now.
I have blown a fog horn into my phone (my fathers bright idea), threatened them, flat out told them I reported them to the authorities, and ignored them. I am sick and tired of being harassed, so if anyone has some new ideas please share with me! Thanks.

Yeah. I get 7-10 calls a day from this number. Most of the time I just don't answer but whenever I do, no one says anything so I just hang up. It's the most annoying thing ever because I don't know how to deal with this. Reason for Editing (Minimum 15 Characters)

NOPE! Thats the WHOLE number that shows up on my cell phone, with the dashes right where they are on the post. Thats what bothers me the most about this, its just 825-354-61. I found one other post on here from a guy who had the same number listed. (Thats how I found this website...)

SoapLady,
Did you file a complaint with your phone company? FCC regs prohibit harassing phone calls. Call your phone company, file a complaint, and back it up in writing. FCC allows for $50k fine and they can have their phone shut off. Works for you, right? :D Reason for Editing (Minimum 15 Characters)

Um, yeah, that person's not fibbing. The only numbers that show up on my missed call list are "825-354-61" That's it. That's the whole number. And it's called me twice now. If it comes through again, I will take the advice shown! Hope it works! Reason for Editing (Minimum 15 Characters)

I just got 2 of these phone calls as well, both times I could not hear what was being said and they hung up after 10 seconds. My question is how do you know this phone call was from Syria? Reason for Editing (Minimum 15 Characters)
