New and Improved Scam

I know we often discuss the scams everyone receives. I receive certain notifications through an emergency e-mail service. This is a new scam that was just updated this month. What was posted on the page looked so real. It is a new IRS scam and the letter head looks really official. I thought I would post this so we can pass it on. I am posting the link so you can look at it if you want. They also have added an address where you can report any scams to the IRS and instructions are there as well so that all important information can be forwarded.

Oh, roxy! Isn't this amazing? Thanks for sharing. I'm sending it to my parents right now so they don't get this and "click" on anything! Laughing

The part on not clicking on anything is what got my attention. I am bad about doing that to see what happens. I am fortunate I have not gotten a virus or crashed my computer.

I just got a "Tax Help" subject in my junk mail, I never opened it. It was probably the scam....

Thanks Roxy...I got that scam too! It seems (here lately)that is about all I get in my e-mail. I received so many in one day I contacted Yahoo and asked if they monitor anything that comes from them. Oh yes I was told and there was nothing else they could do..?? If I get one more e-mail about someone who died in a plane crash and left me money...well I just spend more time deleting.
