I am starting to get emails, about my closed bank account. Can anyone tell me if my cashnow is legal? I am in Illinois. I want to have all my info straight before I respond to them. Wow, there letters are kind of scary!

hold on tm....someone will be along shortly. dont panic. their letters are like that to try and scare the money out you. stay strong.

Hang in there someone will be along shortly. Have youd one a search in the search box for them...I used mycashnow and they were based in vancouver bc, paycheck today I am not sure...do a search as there are plenty of people on here that have used them.

my cash now is not legal, they are out of Granada. Paycheck Today is not legal, they are a d/b/a/ of MTE  and are not licensed anywhere.

thank you! how should I approach both of these companies? I know on one i have over paid if you add the fees and the other i still owe some money

tmb, all communication with these companies should be in writing. You can write them a letter outlining your state laws, what your are required to pay by your laws and how much you have paid. You can refer to this link page 3 as a template for your letter.
