I don't think there is any difference between the financial advisers of UK and USA. The financial advisers are licensed professionals. They go through the financial situation of the consumers and guide them in managing their finances so that they don't fall into the debt trap. The Financial Services Authority is the regulator of the financial services industry in the UK.

By the way, you can contact Jason to know who deleted your post. I'm sure he will let you know who deleted your post.

This is a US based board with US users...really how would anyone here know how the two compare? THe two countries have completely different tax laws and rules and financial advisors would have to be licenced in the country they are advising in.

I deleted the original post as spam.

OmG How can a moderator think it to be a spam Really surprised !!!. I wonder how many posts like these have been deleted before? I think moderator should not to given the right to delete someone else's post. IS there no scope of any discussions other than debt issues? Why is non debt forums like budgeting/ pubs/buysell created then?
