Hi,

I recently was in a bind and was stupid enough to take out pdl's from the following companies:

500 Fast Cash
Plain Greens
Cash Yes
Ameriloan
American Webloan

Are these companies illegal in Indiana and what can I do to get them from tapping into my checking account. They are almost draining me dry.

Though payday lending is legal in Indiana, I will suggest you to contact the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions in order to find out whether or not all the pdl companies that you've listed here are licensed to operate in your state. If you find that they are not licensed to operate in your state, then check out the given page in order to know how you should deal with them: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com...-dealings.html .

500 Fast Cash - illegal
Ameriloan - illegal

You can know whether or not the rest of the pdl companies are legal in Indiana from Indiana Department of Financial Institutions.

I agree with what the previous posters have said. You can request your bank manager to put a hard debit check on your bank account to stop unauthorized withdrawal.
