That was an excellent gift for all of us. It has always been a challenge when things are a little rough financially to make Valentines Day special. Writing your own card with your own words is always better than using someone elses words. Doing something together you both enjoy and writing a little booklet on "Why I Love You" are great ideas along with all the others.
This year is challenging for many as the day falls right before most people get their paychecks! Either Friday or the 15th!

Jason, Thanks for the link. I appreciated it as I am not one to go over the top. I am one of the few that would rather my hubby cook me dinner or we do something as a family becuase it means something. I can buy myself things if I want them.

This is very inspiring Thank You. I have made my own Valentine.(with love)
My loving husband has planned something special for us this year. This weekend the Ct Audubon society is having its yearly Eagle fest. He has booked us seats for a cruse on the Ct River to see the Eagles. I’m sure he has spent some $$$ on the trip but it is the most unusual gift I ever got. I have never seen a bald Eagle and I can’t wait………I’m taking 2 cameras. Even though it’s going to be in the 20’s here
